Not scoring doesn't mean no ambition. Getting booked for time wasting at 0-0 on the other hand... City will be gutted with the result today, sounds like most Gunners are happy with it. At least you'll be able to point to not losing at the Etihad as a memory when you finish 2nd/3rd...

I don't know any city fans that haven't planned them for a poor showing at Anfield. Again though, that was a lack of quality, it's not the same as a lack of ambition. Because it wasn’t a lack of ambition, it was a lack of quality and at no point against Liverpool did we go to a low block for periods of the game. There’s nothing hypocritical in it at all.

At least the 'Pool v City game was 2 teams going for it and no one was booked for timewasting.

Arsenal came with a game plan to keep it tight but press and attack in those transitions when we won the ball in the middle of the pitch. I just think we were too sloppy in those moments and missed several opportunities because of it.

I think Raya and the back 4 minus White were pretty poor with the ball today, whether that was the pressure of the game or the first game back after the international break having an impact, I'm not sure.

I'm happy with a point because that was a minimum requirement today and we got it. Really happy with how we defended but not overly pleased with how we played when we got possession as we could have won that game.

Liverpool showed you how to get at city a few weeks ago. Play on the front foot and believe in your attacking players and theres joy to be had. Yous have an abundance of talent up front and a top class defence, you should have showed more belief today and took the game to city.

You want to win the title you have to go earn it. That today looked like a team that still feels its inferior to city. Not the sign of champions for me.

I fancied yous today, thought youd go for it and show you're a team who have grown since last season. In the end you played the exact same way as last season. Difference this time round was city werent at it.

Can bang on all yous want about how you took 4 points off city, fact is you didnt try to take 3 today.
