Wasn’t there a woman working at a bar who met up with Rashford and his entourage that night after her shift and ended up putting him to bed in the early hours because he was wasted? He then got on a private jet only a couple hours later for training. Sounded pretty depressing, booked a whole floor of an Italian restaurant and blasted out music on his speakers then had an argument with a women he was supposedly seeing at the time and threw all her clothes out of the hotel room. Pretty sure he was hungover and fined, but maybe RDD, I mean Mainoo Man knows better?

Whats more likely?

A barmaid exaggerates the story for a few quid from The Sun

Or

He went on a 2 day bender, had public arguments, turned up for training, still smashed, but was selected to play just 4 days later, because he apologised.

There’s literally a video of him in the club

United probably did fine him 2 weeks pay.

If he broke the club rules set by the manager he would have been fined. The max they can do is 2 weeks money. Standard practice in football.

You don't think he'd be left out of a squad or 2 if he turned up for training, smashed?

Van Basten does like the sound of his own voice. He outed Donny as probably not good enough for the PL very early doors. When everybody else in Holland was outraged that Ole didnt play him every week

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Not true.

We know he was brought in, in part, to restore discipline.

We also know he has dropped players for far less (turning up to a meeting late) than turning up to training, drunk.

Rashy looks broken compared to last season. I know he's had some rough times away from football this year with two family members sadly passing away. It must have effected him more than he's thought.

Some time out of the team is what he probably needed but we've got a manager desperately trying to cling on to his job and doesn't trust many other players.

No idea what happens next. We won't be able to sell him even if the club decided to. No other club can pay him what we will nor will they want to after the season he's having so there's not really a ton of options.

I thi know je is arguing Van Basten said Donny wasn't good enough AFTER he had already failed at United, but before the rest in Holland said it.

I'm not sure how that's a negative on Van Basten though.

na his point read that Van Basten said that he wouldnt work out at Man Utd very early doors and when he did the people in Holland gave hijm abuse for it thinking he was wrong... turns out he was correct.

Diallo deserves a shot tbh. He looks more composed than any of our other attackers, has the best first touch, can pass between the lines.

I'd argue his work off the ball is the issue, but then he keeps laying Rashford with no output.

Rumours Rashford is injured. ETH has said today Amad deserves more minutes and they are happy with him, so I reckon Amad starts tonight.

Rashford's next press release will state his mental health is suffering and at that point he is immune from criticism and only understanding and sympathy will be allowed

posted on 24/4/24

No issue with Diallo being given a shot personally. I actually think it will do some of you good too to see just how these problems can't all be pinned on Rashford.

Diallo isn't going to take us to being title contenders either. He's a decent player for me and nothing more. Don't think he's particularly great at anything and will end up at a lower half PL club at best or maybe a move abroad.

But may as well give him a go for sure. Can't get any worse.

He's lost a few family members this last 12 months. I believe one was a cousin who was very young and who he was close with.

If he's struggling mentally then it would make perfect sense. To go from player of the season to what we've seen is quite the alarming drop so I'd say it's incredibly likely that issues away from football have probably played a big part.

So few people seem to know or understand this point.

It seems players have to behave like robots and perform, otherwise they should get moved on.

Rashers has surely earned some favour with us fans? Yes, he is hit and miss, but at least he's usually an exciting player...

If he wants to move on, then good luck... But if he wants to stay, maybe we should be offering him the benefit of the doubt and hoping a summer break clears his mind.

It can go one of several ways.

Everyone reacts differently to adversity and loss. Some are inspired by these while others are more negatively affected.

What is odd to me is that if he is suffering due to these things, then that would be apparent on the coaching pitch, in training and surely the player would be worked with to cope, which may actually include some time away.

If he was in such a place, it is a mystery that your manager who watches him train day in and out has continued to pick him and not manage the situation. The guy is out there, putting in little effort, getting absolute pelters from fans and pundits, its doing him no good whatsoever. total mess from a confused player at a cross roads in his career.
