Even “Big Phil” thinks he’s a bel lend.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I mean what is the complaint ?
The two handed shove on Hart ??
I think the ref made one mistake which was sterling's tackle on someone ...clean as a whistle yet he gave the foul
That would have got them all ragey
Cantwell made an erse of himself! But won me money ...with his booking as he taken off ...I suspect most who put on a booking bet won today
This is unpopular;but I'm lmost done with kyogo !
Needs to be doing more , loads of games he's just an empty space
Tav is also an empty Jersey when playing against Maeda ,him moving on wouldn't be a bad thing for rangers
Also Scott Wright needs more game time , preferably starts
And..Mickey J is back at celtic

Too many safe passes to retain possession, he still makes runs they just dont pick him out.

I think Tav is general starting to show serious signs of wear and tear.
Age and playing virtually every single game for years on end is catching up with him.
He's nowhere near as effective attacking wise in open play these days. As games progress he is also making very slack, tired looking passes.
I agree, I think Rangers should say thanks, but it's time to for a fresh chapter but I've a feeling he will be kept on.

You’re not alone on that, this season anyway … and he also sh@t the bed on so many chances in Ange’s European games. To be fair, Brendanbaw defo does not suit his game, but even allowing for that he needs to get himself more involved in games. He’s been a great signing overall, absolutely no doubt, but he needs to up his level next campaign … or find himself starting less.
Been pretty hot and cold on us signing Idah. What’s the thoughts?
Depends on the fee of course but I say sign him up. Big fckr CFs are thin on the ground and he’s only 23 probably get our money back at worst.

Said this at the time, but I still can’t get my head around why we didn’t agree an option to buy fee in his loan deal. Makes no sense, other than presumably Pistol saving a few quid because it’s a cheaper loan without that clause … BUT any minor saving there surely goes right out the window if the loanee does fairly well? Norwich hold all the cards now if we want the player.

Agreed. It’s madness to take any loan without an option to buy - unless it’s an emergency. Idah has given a lot of reasons to make permanent transfer a no brainer, but as you say, Norwich hold all the cards.
I still think BR brought Idah on more to defend the front post at corners than score the winner.
And well done to brother Beaton on VAR for spotting the push on Joe Hart 👍

Thought it wasn’t a great game overall. We were pretty much in total control the first half without doing much damage. Looked like rangers were set up to contain us as much as possible. Second half, rangers came back into it more after we started to run out of ideas. Same with them though-they didn’t really create a lot, and as much as it might irk some rangers fans, it wasn’t through particularly good football.
I’m not sure Clement is playing the style of football he wants, but if it is then it’s odd. I’m sure someone will shout ‘injuries!!!’ soon enough, but even when he had a pretty full compliment of players (Motherwell, Ross County, etc) then it wasn’t much better. New manager bounce maybe?
We had a few players who weren’t at their best, and a few that were probably stifled by rangers tactics. Our first choice team is decent, but the drop off to our squad players is too big.
Not been a vintage season, but I’ve enjoyed the league win a lot, and as much as I wasn’t particularly bothered about the outcome of the game today, I was delighted at full time. Think it’s funnier when there seems to be a bit of hope, and then it’s cruelly snatched away…
Think there’s a lot of changes in squads needed at both teams, but from different perspectives. Celtic can (if the board decide to pull their fingers out) do it from a position of strength and with a decent base of players. Rangers don’t seem to have that luxury, and not in the same position with funds.
Fair play to Rodgers. Wasn’t keen on him coming back and some of the football has been turgid at times-same as his last 2 seasons before. He’s persevered though and got there at the end when it looked beyond us, so deserves credit as much as he’s deserved criticism through the season.
Had a bet on with Celtic to win, Cantwell getting booked and both teams having a minimum of 2 shots on target in both halves.
The fact that the last bit lost me the best says everything about today’s game. Poor all round. Which makes the 90th minute winner even more enjoyable. 😂
As for Idah. £5m? £6m? It’s a no brainer. He’s clearly got the bottle and temperament for these games. Missing out on signing him would be a travesty.
