If we haven't replacements lined up by now there's not a cats chance in hell we will sign the players we need now.

Just when you think things cant get worse Leeds United seem to find another level.

Apparently the club have contacted LUFC trust. They will address the fans AFTER the transfer window. Shocking from the club.

They will put a massive gamble on loan signings now….. we’ll see this weekend the players that are out of favour y top PL clubs and we’ll grab a couple with a view of a bit of luck. Then add another 2 cheap boys on top. Gurantee it

Only at Leeds. What is it with us? We seemed to be flying last season then it all went belly up. I was talking to a well respected, former Real Madrid coach (amongst other big clubs)the other day and he told me that sometimes the owners tell a manager to not get promoted for whatever reason - but mostly the cost involved. I can’t see this with the PL riches though. It’s different from his day.

About Rutter though - I think £35m was with add ons that we now won’t have to pay. So there might be a good £15m clear profit in him.

I’m gutted he’s going because he’s a one off - like Cantona was - and he could go on to be one of the greats if he keeps going like he is. To be honest he’s too good for this league and this club.

We just have to spend now and hope morale gets lifted before it drops even further. The owners are lucky we have no home game until two weeks on Saturday. Maybe it was planned this way?

This is totally disgusting. It's Bates all over again as someone said. We will be lucky to not be in a relegation scrap. Wouldn't surprise me if we see the return of Big Sam.

I now believe there was a deliberate attempt to stop the club getting promoted by the owners last year. Being in the championship avoids PL wages and with decent attendances each week, they can turn a tidy profit.

I think we have to boycott the club and force change.

Every time you think things are on the up, bang this happens, 6 goals conceded in 2 home games - this club is becoming an absolute joke. I can't take it anymore. Now we have to play highflyers West Brom, Sheff wed, Burnley etc. Good luck all I can say !!!!!!

I was a bit concerned by his ‘rolling sleeves up comment’ as I interpreted that as don’t expect many incomings those already here will have to work harder as we won’t be getting all the incomings we want, but, that’s only my personal interpretation of it. May have interpreted wrongly though.
