The amount of support this guys had and chances given you’d have to say he is the worst manager post Sir Alex. Especially when you consider he is the only manager to keep his job after not qualifying for the CL.

There seems to be talk that Ruud might be the next manager. Has he shown anything in his managerial career that he’s up to it?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No, he hasn't.
I've not seen any credible talk to this end.
RBW, I don't see any connection between INEOS restructuring and team selection/player performance last night.

Have you ever put in performances which you think, YES, that was it, that's the template and the bar we must achieve.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yea, against Barnsley
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Funny enough, I did say that performance was off. We forgot we were supposed to concede to a penalty which would have changed the outcome

So it wasn't just the injuries then

Loool
I really feel the next few weeks will be a case of we win the odd game, think we have turned a corner and then lose one, but overall little will change. We may look a little better to watch than last season, but ultimately we will lack a killer instinct.
You can sense that these players are decent enough, should be capable of better, but it's not going to happen under ETH.
I really hope the board are considering options regarding the next manager and have the balls to make that decision fairly quickly. In the meantime, we will go through this roller coaster for a couple of more months

Because we are suposed to he a serious football club now and not just a cash cow for our daft American owners. Considered team selection and tactics is an integral part of tha off being just that.
I'm not overly fussed if he gets sacked.
The axe should've dropped at the end of last season.
Who was it who extended Bruno's contract?
Ten Hag aka the football trainer/manager is as much of the INEOs restructured team as any of the other new appointments all of whom will be under scrutiny to ensure that their performance contributes to increase the marginal gains that benefit the whole operation. Itsxas if spme United fans think that TH has a pass from this scutiny. I pay £50 a game to watch this operation unravel at Old Trafford so I will note it when it goes wrong.

Oh, apologies, didn't realise you were evaluating the impact of INEOS *as a match-going fan*. In that light, I withdraw my remarks.
Seriously though, the primary impact of the INEOS leadership is going to be about how well they make decisions that have medium to long term impacts. Recruitment, value for money, having more players of the right profile, the health of the academy. They won't have people with the wrong competence making decisions, and therefore won't tell the coach which players to pick or how to speak to his players. So the only real short-term impact INEOS might have on our football was through keeping or replacing ETH and with the recruitment in their first window. We may all have opinions on that, but I don't think that equates to being able to judge the INEOS revolution as a whole.
I not judging the INEOS revolution as a whole. I'm quite happy with that in place. And it will continue with or without Ten Hag as the Coach.
Im judging specifically the performance that the Coach has made so far this season, who is now in his third year at United, which is making many United supporters still question his competence in making decisions with his team selections style of play and gameplan. So far.
What Eriksen is reported as saying after the game that the Twente players were 'up for it more' than the United players.... is pretty damning for ETH. If he cant get the players 'up for it' for a game like that, in front of 74000 paying supporters, wearing the red shirt, whoever they are or however good or poor they are...he's got no chance. The Twente coach certainly got his players up for it.
I don't disagree with that, but you brought up the INEOS revolution bearing fruit this season.
