Yeah it's a bit annoying TBag. Specially as all the government people will be sitting on their arrises. You getting up at 4am to watch her being put in the ground?
Do we actually get to see her go in the ground? Or is it like the Pope thing where we just watch for a puff of smoke?
I feel for the people who had to sort out childcare with less than a week's notice. I think it'll be a very easy day at the very least.
Nah, are you? Tbh I felt a lot of emotions about her dying, but nothing really worth celebrating, if that makes sense? I have no doubt she was an impressive woman who did her job admirably, but so much of what she represented goes against my own personal views
Yeah it's a weird one. I don't have feelings about her dying really but it's a proper historic event that's being experienced by a big chunk of the world's population. It's like, when someone in a pub in 20 years asks you about the Queen's funeral are you going to be like 'saw a bit of it on YouTube'?
I don't intend to wake up in the early hours to watch it but I'll make time to watch the ceremony at some point. IMO it's worth taking some time to recognise what it means, even if that is a negative to you.
Yeah that's fair. The guy who played Neville Longbottom actually put up a post on Insta that I thought described the whole situation quite eloquently
Right yeah it's weird having to explain how they're a part of being British and that feeling even if you don't like it. Like the slightly racist uncle
