I've been travelling for a while and I've seen so many people who love the Royals an absurd amount, but I'm also very wary of the history it represents for other people. I understand why, but paying off Prince Andrews' stuff was where I went from apathetic to active dislike.

Had a great morning, now home back to the house for some lunch and then beach in the afternoon again

Bit of a nothing convo, but rewatching the Bentancur goal. Was the keeping really bad, or is it just that the situation was so unique that the circumstances ended with him having an easy finish from far out?

stop being like J with PEH I’m generally curious as the finished just seemed so easy and Ward wasn’t even close to a passed finish

I pray we get a result on Saturday. A win would be so tasty.

Tbf ward is easily one of the worst Gks in the league but you see that type of goal go in all the time in training videos.

I suspect ward couldn’t shut down one angle too much without leaving the other side wide open and ended up leaving both sides open.

Tbf it was class how it got in right in of the post.

It was awesome from Bentancur, but I feel Ward could have reacted so much faster with his positioning. It just seemed so easy

Look where Ward was when Benta pinched the ball… he raced back to position but was never comfortable/set… and Benta hit it nicely into the bottom corner

I think if he'd had a CB in front of him it wouldn't been easier to shut down an angle at least. As it was he scrambled back and got himself in the centre of the goal. After that it's reactions. Like H said, though, he hit the post and in. Not much you can do.

Son's first goal he definitely should've done better IMO

It’s always weird those screamers where it goes above the keeper. I remember Giroud scored one for Arsenal against city (maybe Hart) and wondering what had happened there
