I thought their number 19 Bayo played like Tammy Abraham, he was terrific and did everything a centre forward should do. I wish we had him.
And the number 34...Baah was very quick and a good winger, wish we had him.
Sorry Vidal I thought Cashin looked rather rusty and struggled, along with Elder.
I find it difficult to fathom why we buy a player who isn't ready for a few minutes of football.
I thought CBT was our best player. PW treats him disgracefully.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Imagine if the new player was put on & wasn't match fit because he hadn't played since December & pulled his hamstring or quad & he was out for 6 weeks, you'd be asking why did we put him on....
----------------------------------------------------------------------
When did Cashin last play? And why has this player not played? Has he trained? Seems like amateursville to me. He is 29 soon and still is playing in Norway, why has no one picked him up before? And why is CBT treated so badly
Oh dear, I’ve started repeating myself, I say repeating myself.
We don’t see what goes on in training or in players’ private lives. Perhaps there are things we don’t know. If not then I agree, I think CBT should have had more game time.
With the Viking, since he hasn’t played for a few weeks I suppose it makes sense to see him in training for a few days. The reason he hasn’t played is because their season ended about 6 weeks ago.
I wonder if he’ll play on Tuesday. I won’t be going because I’m going to an old friends’s funeral in Dorset. We used to go to most games when we were young and the shoots of a good team were just starting in 1967/68/69.
On the bench I expect. It would be a surprise if he had a debut like a Hector or a Saunders. As has been said, if he was of high quality he would have been plying his trade somewhere else by now. In the last window it was reported that we tried and failed to get Michael Smith from Sheffield Wednesday, a journeyman of the lower leagues if there ever was one. For the money that we can afford, any striker is going to have plenty of limitations so I hope we look for what he can add to the team rather than what he can’t.

Remember Michu at Swansea City during their PL campaign? None of the big Spanish sides considered him. Had a fantastic season hitting 20 goals with other PL clubs such as Man U questioning why he wasn't on their radar.
A one season wonder but sometimes the player and club can be the perfect fit. Heres hoping once the Viking is match fit he offers us the strength and aggression lacking up front and turns PW's season around.
Rumour time.

I was on about the players moving on not the manager
There was an article over the weekend to expect some departures without naming who. If Collins and Barks are the two to go wish them all the best.
Also, we were never going to get Barry and I'd consider that too risky. Require seasoned Champ level or higher pedigree to find the eight + wins needed to aid our survival bid.
Collins linked with Lincoln City

How much are the JA606 Derby community offering to pay for the job role?
https://www.facebook.com/share/1BYjgqLU8S/
I see Sheff United, who already have Kieffer Moore, Tyrese Campbell, Rhian Brewster and Gustavo Hamer, have now signed Ben Brereton-Diaz and are favourites to also get Tom Cannon! Can we have their 20th choice centre forward please? I'm sure he would improve our strike force.
Although not a CF I'd love to see G Hamer in a Derby shirt. K Moore would probably be a PW type player.
Hamer is lovely to watch. Have to say Moore led the line for them superbly earlier in the season against us. His touch was surprisingly good in that game.
That's Nelson out for the rest of of the season. Maybe an ACL

He was limping on Saturday and the thought of an ACL tear actually crossed my mind but then he seemed to run it off again. That was in the first half though so might not have been when it occurred.

He didn't seem as mobile in the second half tbh
No. I'm sure it happened in the first half. With a partial tear the nature of the injury might not be clear at first if the remaining intact fibres of the ligament keep the joint stable. When Sam Winnall did the sane he carried on for a bit. Playing on won't have helped of course but he would have needed surgery regardless so it probably hasn't made any practical difference.
Rooney Cash and Fozzy back 3 tomorrow? How long until Nyambe and Phillips will be available?
Has VVD signed a new contract yet?
Go on Paul, sell him the DCFC dream.
Well that’s a bit of a hammer blow 😬
Could put a bit of a dent in our late playoffs push …
