Yeah Suarez almost made Liverpool win the league.
Hazard carried a shocking Chelsea attack single-handedly.
If mikey Moore can be as good as Saka that would be sound

Yeah having a world class attacker or two changes the whole thing. If we scored even 25% more of the chances created by winning the ball up high or lost possession up front 10% less all of a sudden teams will naturally start bottling it more. As it is, they know they probably won't get punished unless they do it a few times so they're more comfortable taking risks against the press.
Where I'm struggling with the OP, though, is that believing in Ange doing the right stuff but admitting the results are sheit and he's probably not the long term solution can really only lead to the conclusion that he should be sacked. Sorry. Critics like to say he's clueless and substandard, I actually think he's too good for us. We need a Moyes or a Dyche to polish the turrrds our ownership deliver
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think the biggest reason why he shouldn't be sacked is because there are bigger issues we need to address first & there isn't the calibre of manager out there we could get. Not exactly the best argument for him, but I would rather we address the actual issues than kick it down the line for another manager to inheret and have the same problems.
Think gray and Bergvall will be great too
Just don’t get those senior signings right but seems something spurs and united especially get badly wrong more often than not
Assuming we stay up next season will be significantly more positive even with Ange
Cole Palmer’s dragged a 12th placed team to 6th. The list goes on.
Rodri won city the treble then the league last season

Spurs should play Mikey Moore every game now, he looks grate.
Yeah problem is we have to play two other forwards as well

Great article Edin, I’m still Ange in (just)
Ange Postecoglou is under mounting pressure as #Tottenham boss.
Postecoglou’s immediate future is secure, but he now faces a decisive week in the club’s season, with 2 crucial fixtures forthcoming as the club looks to remain on track in Europe and kickstart a revival in the league.

Yeah you could see what's coming there - the issues that are hampering Ange are not a reason to keep him around in themselves. Similarly they're not reasons to sack him necessarily. I'm on the fence on this one. We do usually spend to support a new manager, though..
For me the big benefit to sacking a manager mid season is when you have a replacement and they can spend the rest of the season assessing what they have, planning transfers and starting rhe next season with feet well under the table.
Temporary managers aren't often successful and don't prepare the squad for the next season

I don't think there is any question that having a world class player would make some difference but it certainly wouldn't solve everything.
Someone on here made the point that United were able to win things on the strength of individual quality from the likes of Rashford and Fernandes. Sure but ETH was still sacked because results ultimately weren't good enough. That's my thing with Ange, he should be performing better already with what we have that it makes me think we're still going to be underperforming relative to what we have if we were to get hold of a world class player.
And look how that went for us, we got even worse.
