I said pre Everton that Levy was gambling that Ange won’t take us down. I said pre Leicester that Levy was gambling that Ange won’t take us down. I will say again pre Brentford, Levy is taking a massive gamble that Ange won’t take us down.
A new man getting a new manager bounce and picking up a couple of wins might be all we need to survive.

I think panic could well set in.
We’ve never won at Brentford in the Premier League and they have the third best home record - I expect a loss. Then I expect a dry humping at Anfield and Villa to knock us out also.
After that it’s United at home, Ipswich away and City at home - honestly, I would be amazed if we got more than 1 point.
Ipswich have Southampton this weekend, Leicester have Everton, Wolves have Villa - a side they rarely lose to. I could honestly see us looking at the table with 11/12 games to go and only being 3 points above the drop zone.
Leicester at home was our second easiest remaining game on paper and we lost - so other than Southampton at home, what other games can we confidently back ourselves in?

There seems to be this idea across the board that "Spurs aren't gonna go down". I heard Carragher say it yesterday and many others have jumped on the bandwagon. Pretty sure I heard the same voices saying Leicester wouldn't win the Premier League so stranger things have happened.
Personally I think we're sleepwalking into a relegation scrap with, as you say, a tough run of fixtures. We could easily get sucked in, if we're not already and my issue is that if it's a toss up between our squad and say Wolves/Ipswich/Leicester, it might seem better on paper but how many of our lads have the experience of rolling their sleeves up for a scrap. We don't. We're pushing a bunch of kids into no man's land fighting against those more familiar with what it takes to survive. If we're pulled in, we don't have the leaders to deal with it. The only one that's ever been through it is Maddison.

My concern is what position we are in before that Southampton game and the potential pressure that could come with it.
If we’ve not won in the league prior to that match - very possible given the fixtures, then it puts huge pressure on that game. A red card, bad decision, penalty, etc - we fail to win that and we could cap size - you are spot on that this group have little fight left.
Preempting accusations of hypocrisy given I may have called him a cvnt on the odd occasion. What you'll find though is that it's only ever reactionary. You'll can dig through my comments but you won't find one insult thrown at Luka that hasn't started without him throwing the first dart.

I think panic could well set in.
We’ve never won at Brentford in the Premier League and they have the third best home record - I expect a loss. Then I expect a dry humping at Anfield and Villa to knock us out also.
After that it’s United at home, Ipswich away and City at home - honestly, I would be amazed if we got more than 1 point.
Ipswich have Southampton this weekend, Leicester have Everton, Wolves have Villa - a side they rarely lose to. I could honestly see us looking at the table with 11/12 games to go and only being 3 points above the drop zone.
Leicester at home was our second easiest remaining game on paper and we lost - so other than Southampton at home, what other games can we confidently back ourselves in?

There seems to be this idea across the board that "Spurs aren't gonna go down". I heard Carragher say it yesterday and many others have jumped on the bandwagon. Pretty sure I heard the same voices saying Leicester wouldn't win the Premier League so stranger things have happened.
Personally I think we're sleepwalking into a relegation scrap with, as you say, a tough run of fixtures. We could easily get sucked in, if we're not already and my issue is that if it's a toss up between our squad and say Wolves/Ipswich/Leicester, it might seem better on paper but how many of our lads have the experience of rolling their sleeves up for a scrap. We don't. We're pushing a bunch of kids into no man's land fighting against those more familiar with what it takes to survive. If we're pulled in, we don't have the leaders to deal with it. The only one that's ever been through it is Maddison.
You'd better hope we're clear of relegation before April because if we're not, I'd fancy us to go down over the others because we just don't have the steel for it.

My concern is what position we are in before that Southampton game and the potential pressure that could come with it.
If we’ve not won in the league prior to that match - very possible given the fixtures, then it puts huge pressure on that game. A red card, bad decision, penalty, etc - we fail to win that and we could cap size - you are spot on that this group have little fight left.

Preempting accusations of hypocrisy given I may have called him a cvnt on the odd occasion. What you'll find though is that it's only ever reactionary. You'll can dig through my comments but you won't find one insult thrown at Luka that hasn't started without him throwing the first dart.
Anyway, I'm done now. Filtering IS the adult response. If he loathes everything I say then why on earth is he so bothered?
