Plenty of time to develop. He is Spurs top scorer. So whilst he may not always contribute, he does score goals. Suspect he will play a big part over the coming years.

Actually think Spurs will win a trophy this season, but finish bottom half

Don't forget Luka Vuskovic a highly rated young CB, not even 17 yet, presently on loan in the Belgian league, arriving at Spurs this summer

Something about Spurs and European competitions...

London-born Moore (17 years and 172 days) broke Jimmy Greaves' record (17 years and 245 days in October 1957) to become the youngest-ever English scorer in major men's European competition.

Lol....it's Elfsborg mate. I'd wager most of you never heard of them before you got to play them.

"A fan just said to me then - just play the kids, we don't need to buy anyone," former Tottenham striker Peter Crouch told TNT Sports.

Have you been talking to Crouchie?

The kids did well last night but pretty much any future game would be a big step up for them, Last nights performance shouldn't be an excuse for Levy to not bring anyone in.

Let me guess, we're going to do the treble with our youngsters now?

Was going to say something similar. They are championship standard at best.

We played Steaua in Romania last night too and they were honestly poorer than Southampton. The Saints gave us a real scare a few weeks ago in comparison to these lot.

The Europa League is honestly a dreadful competition until the knockouts start. Then it starts to get competitive and tougher to win.

Well obviously not at the moment. Ange has been at Spurs 18 months. Busby was at Man United for 24 years. But I am not comparing the managers, just the set of young players coming through.

Jimmy Greaves was with Chelsea when he broke the European record as the youngest scorer. He was actually playing for a London XI, who were entered into an early European competition.

Not particularly going on about last night. I am talking about the future. Looks good for Spurs going forward.

I think you're somewhat jumping the gun with this article Sandy, but I like your optimism.

Sandy, what are the thoughts of SteveF and SimonB? You seem to get on well with them

Not sure most get this article. It`s not just about last nights match. Its about the future, and where all these younger players will be in five years when they all mature.

Quadruple incoming.

Spurs will almost certainly win a trophy before Arsenal do. Farteta talks a good game, but never delivers.
