Seems best as an impact sub. RW is an area we could do with adding to this summer.

Yes he's ideal as a supersub as he's fast and has lots of energy so great against tired defenders.

I would like to see BJ employed CF or Left Wing. He is right footed and played for Forest in those two positions as well.

He just does not look confortable on the right wing. Scared to take someone on and timid. With his pace, he does have some he needs to be tried in a different position.

We need a left footed player on the right wing.

This is a very underrated quality and fans usually say 'He only scores tap ins'

For as long as I can remember, the problem has been that well sell useful players like BJ and replace them with inferior players. While the really useless players stink out the place for years and years.

Maybe Spurs fans particularly bad at getting on the back of any player who isn't world class. To be fair if we occasionally picked up a trophy like Utd do, we probably wouldn't moan half as much.

His positioning, anticipation, pace and to a degree, finishing, is all that he has to his game.

He doesn't have that low centre of gravity that the trickest wingers have to beat players and technically is miles off the best.

He is a very decent player to have in the squad. He will improve, pretty sure of that.

Isn't he like the clubs top scorer this season? Or have I got that wrong?

Yeah he gets a bit too much flack and I said the same thing on the other thread.

He's been outscoring our captain and the one player who is supposed to be considered our best, Son. Not to mention if it wasn't for BJ we'd have gone out to Coventry in the early rounds of the League Cup. Many would have called for Ange's head after that......actually yeah fack him! He kept Ange in a job longer.

From what I've seen he isn't good enough as a winger, but he has a knack of being in the right place at the right time, and is a decent finisher. Maybe he is low on confidence but he never takes on his man, which is what wee need from a winger. He has good pace though, maybe we could try him on the opposite side where he can cut in onto his right foot and get shots off, or as a striker, but he maybe lacks the physicalty for that.

He’s a bit like Theo Walcott. Technically shiiiite but grate at getting into goalscoring position and a decent finisher.

I just want to see him look to exploit space and his pace. Drop deep and spin into the spaces he's just made. He so often waits for the ball to his feet, unless we are in full counter attack mode.

I’ve said it before on here …I think he is a striker playing as a winger

He isn’t gonna win flick ons and hold the ball up but there are different type of strikers and he would stretch any defence hanging on the shoulder of centre backs ….his pace would worry most centre backs

Lightweight & bang average...lasted three weeks in my FF team...waste of space

Fully agree with this. Imo he needs to be considered for LW

On the right, he cannot do anything whatsoever in open play. His game is fully reliant on getting on the end of things

Even though he’s not a dribbler, at least on the left the angles are better for him to go either side

We badly need a left footed RW and, even though it will be difficult, we surely have to go all out for Mbuemo this summer. He plays 90 mins every week for Brentford, is a good age, is strong, can dribble and is a goal threat

Even our young wingers are all left sided (Moore, Odobert, Yang)

So, need a RW this summer as well as at least one CM and CB

No we’re relying on probably two top class midfielders so that we don’t have to rely on teenagers, which inevitably has us lower down the table

Definitely can upgrade RW over him, don't care that he's scored more than anyone else, it's still not great, he's non-existent in far more games than not. No guile, too easy to shake off and doesn't go at his man anywhere enough that winger should do.

Maybe he will improve but he's not a teenager and this is his second season, he wouldn't be first on my team sheet. Super sub.

Hoping Ajayi could be an option in the future. He fits the bill for the RW, but at 19 there hasn't been noise around him prior to his goal in the ropey.

Probably needs a loan next season but wouldn't mind seeing him again. Would be great if he really stepped up again, if called upon.
