No need to do the draw

It’s hard to win anything when you play the ‘ring doughnut’ formation. Especially when you don’t have a decent number six.

Exactly my thinking.

Sociedad are nothing special. Other than the bottom 3 every other premier league club would beat them.

You lost to Leicester bro.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

And Ipswich 👍

Htf are we only at the last 16 stage in March? This competition drags out longer than a Devon justifying levy post.

A long way to go, but if we end up meeting Man Utd in the Europa final there is no chance we will beat them, no matter how shiete they are. Spurs will find a way to fack it up, or the officials will fack it up for us, probably via the most gifted of all gifted penalties.

It all boils down to good old benefit of doubt officiating, weak referees who are afraid to give decisions against media darling clubs in big games for fear of the inevitable shiete storm that will follow.

The same thing happens with Varpool, particularly in big games when there is something riding on it, they always get the benefit doubt.

It makes a massive difference.

And have beaten two CL teams in the Prem this season comfortably 4-0 and 4-1, Man City and Aston Villa. So don`t quite see the point of mentioning Leicester or Ipswich. Prefer to concentrate on the positives, rather than always the negatives.

Ah here you are Sandy, you've recovered from having your backside handed to you by Admin. Now just to confirm our meet up, 2 hours before kick off against southampton outside the entrance to the stadium shop.

Can somebody tell that dope Grinch that we agreed to meet up at 12.30. I am always in the ground at 1pm when the gates open.

Oh and tell him back to the original meeting place, outside the Corner Pin pub, where I am meeting my mates. He won`t be able to miss me, I will be with four others. So he only needs to look for a group of five. Shouldn`t be that hard even for Grinch. You had better turn up fella.

There you go Grinch, all you have to do is find a group of any random 5 blokes stood together that you have never met before - what could be simpler

Oh no Sandy we'll stick to my original suggestion of meeting outside the entrance to the shop at 1pm. That way you'll easily be in the stadium by 1.15 when you meet your brother in law. Now either show up or shut up & you've already lost your mobile number excuse thanks to admin.

See you outside the Corner Pin Grinch. Don`t try to back out.

Final post on the subject. We will be gone by 12.55 to enter the ground for 1pm.

No need to worry. A comfortable Spurs win by a couple of goals. I was at the Ipswich game earlier in the season. It was basically a mugging. Lightening does not tend to strike twice.

I don't remember that being a mugging? Ipswich deserved it and we never did enough to win it.

Honestly I don't know what to expect against Ipswich but I think we will give away good chances. If we can win or draw then it's a milestone in our season....3 PL games in a row unbeaten. Hooray!!

Possession Spurs 66% Ipswich 33%
Shots Spurs 17 Ipswich 8
Shots on target Spurs 5 Ipswich 3
Corners Spurs 13 Ipswich 2

Like I said a mugging. Spurs bossed every stat. Other than the result. Spurs should easily reverse the score this time around.

Absolutely no chance the home game was a mugging. They stifled our attack effectively and ripped us apart on the counter - Delap bullied the schitt out of us.

We scored from a corner and had another correctly disallowed from a corner, but in open play we really didn’t create much.

Tough one to call this weekend - I can’t see us losing though, all the pressure is on Ipswich as they desperately need a result. Sort of game where we could win 3-0 or draw 2-2

Stats are not everything and don't tell the whole story. We had more shots and possession than United for example, yet it felt like they had the better chances and our keeper was busier.

Yeah it was a game in which I thought their manager tactically outdid Ange. They were organised in defence with little penetration from us. Sometimes that's all you need against this Ange team.

I think we can not lose but I would never rule out the chance for us to slip on a banana skin. Dr Tottenham is always close by monitoring the situation.

Yeah this is the most confident I have been going into an away game since Southampton. Ipswich will make it tough, but they won’t be sitting back as much and I think we will be better prepared for them. Could be a draw, but I can’t see us losing
