Interim Rangers Manager list

I'd probably order that TBF
Well if it's on the BBC it's 100%
Patrick Stewart few days ago saying it wasn't PC's fault.
''"Until we sort the root causes, then it's akin to trying to fix a broken house and starting with the ceiling instead of starting with the foundations.''''
If it's a standing house you start with the fvkin roof.
Moron.
Official statement due in the next half hour to confirm Clement sacking
Media outlets already reporting it
This board cannie even sack a manager without making a clusterfck of it

Be sorer if Rangers weren’t about to be flooded with consequence-free mullions apparently.

Ach well as a Celtic - all I can say is it was good while it lasted.
7th time I've posted that in past 10 years.

Not the best look for Picard to be saying "sacking the manager won't fix the problem" then sacking the manager a week or two later. Maybe he realised there are actually many, many problems.

He also said last week that Clement and the team deserve credit for the Europa League campaign, and sacking him after the Queens Park result would have been a bit of a knee jerk reaction...but we are all judged on results, there's no free passes.
He also said he speaks with Phillippe after every game, he had a longer conversation with Phillippe than usual after the Queens Park game obviously, but the focus for the board was on how Phillippe and the team respond to such a significant setback.
Well...we've seen what the reponse was

To be fair most of the fans and players had also chucked it so harsh to single out Clement.
Some amount of manager churn......how Clement the chump was successful elsewhere I'll never know

----------------------------------------------------------------------
And the rumour is he is going to walk straight into a job back in Belgium.
He just wasnt capable of overcoming the particular challenges that come with managing Rangers domestically.
I suspect eh was successful because he managed a team that was capable of competing consistently. The Rangers he managed is not the Rangers in most fans heads.
The notions of "get back to where we belong" is comical. Most of the fans younger than 30 have never seen their team be a force so the idea of where they belong is alien to them.
I have said it time and time again, Rangers need a CEO who is realistic and ignores the demands of the fans for instant success. They need a plan of 3-5 years to steady the ship, cut the spending on the books and accept they will lose games and draw games. Accept they will not win their fair share of trophies for a few seasons and accept that not every young cheap player will be a success on the pitch and in transfer fees.
Do that and they could be a serious long term challenger. Continuing to hope the next guy is definitely the man to bring it all back without being able to back him properly means they may win the occassional trophy or league but will ultimately be skint the year after.
Perhaps that is what they were doing with Clement and perhaps he was doing a good job of that but the expectations of the fans meant he was never going to be given the chance.
The cycle begins again and whoever the new manager is will be gone in 16-18 months for not "getting them back where they belong"
