Ooooooooooooh ... near ... good play ..
Close but no cigar for DJ this time unfortunately
Almost for James, who has been a little off it lately
Weren't good enough today
very fragmented performance, could easily have won it or lost it, no one stood out but a few stank. unbeaten in yonks but we go again
I never like the early kick-offs, seems we can never quite get on song ...
Draw probably correct result.
Looked tired, poor team selection from the off.
For a squad that’s repeatedly described as the best in the division, we are reluctant to rotate.
Fair result oddly enough. Pompey away (early kickoff) will be as tricky as this.
Thanks for joining in everyone once again
Fair result in the end and still unbeaten
Cheers Earl er al - fair result can't complain, WBA gave us a game.
Tired performance from us today, but could be a valuable point in the end. Rodon to the rescue.
Can't really complain so a point it is though disappointing obviously but 7 points from last 3 and we've got through a really tricky period extending our lead at the top which hopefully QPR can at least hold Shef utd later so all in all we're in great shape and a nice rest till Pompey away next Sunday....cheers Earl et al...MOT
Could easily have lost that, agree that it was a tired looking performance. BBC stats say we had 15 shots only 2 on target. They had 7 with 3 on target. A point is still useful but after taking the lead early we usually go on to win.
to be fair i would say west brom is easily one of the best teams we have faced this season so not disheartened by a point, win would have been nice but they did battle hard so fair play to them
As others have said there's no real gimmes in the Champiinship now Wayne Rooney has left the building...meeeow...but on paper and yes I know it's played on grass not paper but even so with a well rested side by next Sunday despite a silly noon kick-off I expect a much improved performance as today we did look jaded after the highs of Sunderland and Shef.Utd it was probably expecting too much to see anything other than we saw today....11 games left and no reason we can't win the lot..he says enjoying an ice cold Stella in the sunshine....onwards and uowards👍
Better second half. Could have won it but easily could have lost it at the death.
I think a few players looked a bit jaded today but that’s not surprising with the intense games we’ve had this last two weeks.
A point nearer promotion!
I wouldn’t be surprised if West Brom dent Burnley’s automatic hopes on 11th March. They are difficult opponents, well-organised in defence, and threatening up front.
I certainly wouldn't bet against WBA going up via the play-offs...very impressed with their grit and threat and Tony Mowberry after what he's gone through I'd personally love to see him triumph at Wembley.
I see Frank Lampard's Coventry City have joined the play off party...interesting scrap for that top 5th and 6th spot with my early season nailed on prediction Middlesbrough now Latte Lathless looking unlikely to worry the likes of Brom, Coventry and Blackburn so like I said above whoever misses out on top 2 which I don't think will be us this time will not have an easy time of it and WBA for me look well capable of gatecrashing that 3rd promotion spot.
