I wish I shared your confidence, Sandy. As far as I’m concerned, if we don’t get past AZ, Ange can fack right off.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Don't worry Palmers, Spurs will win comfortably.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I hope so Sandy. It’s been a dismal season thus far, before and since the injuries. Shame really, as if we weren’t so dreadful in the league, there would be a chance of qualifying for the CL as 5th place is likely to be enough this year.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Next season will be much better. Injuries pretty well derailed the season. It is what it is though. No point in getting annoyed. It's only a game of football.

"Spurs have lost 7 PL home games this season:
their joint-most in the competition (level with 1996-97).
Only in 1993-94 (when seasons featured 42 games, have they lost more: 9"

Sums up how poor this manager is. Must have had far worse teams than this to work with in the PL era. Still 5 more home games to go too.

Yup. With a tough lot of games to come.
Yet only 4 home games out of the remaining 9,
2 of which are Southampton and Crystal Palace which we'd expect to be givens dunno if we're on to beat our record home defeats. All thanks to this manager that we have.

Who hasn't beaten Citay this season? They just lost again today to Forest. And they beat us at home, so? Oh yeah we rested players intentionally for the Europa and in doing so finally turned a lot of previous ange-inners the right way out.

We beat a City side, who we often beat anyway, during their worst season under Pep, and a Villa side who are currently 10th in the table.

The losses look worse than the wins by far:

Palace hadn't won a game and beat us. Didn't win their next 4 after that.

Ipswich hadn't won a game and beat us at home. Didn't win their next 4 after that and are still in the bottom 3. It's their only away win all season.

Everton had one win in 12 prior to us and 6 goals. They won and led us by 3 goals to nil in the first half.

Leicester have 1 win and 11 losses in their last 12. You don't need me to tell you who they beat.

I mean Ange has honestly delivered some of the lowest moments in recent memory and you still get idiots defending him. Incredible.

Pound for pound he might be the worst PL manager of all time.

All I said was that the injuries aren’t an excuse because we were pretty average before them. Utterly pointless beating City and Villa when we lost to Palace and Brighton.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

It was pretty underwhelming before the injuries. We threw away a 2-0 lead at Brighton, while managing to become Palace and Ipswich’s first victories of the season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Didn't Spurs also beat two CL teams 4-0 and 4-1 before the injuries? Always easy to pick out negative results.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We beat a City side, who we often beat anyway, during their worst season under Pep, and a Villa side who are currently 10th in the table.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

If he wins the Europa as I suspect he may, he will go down as one of Spurs greatest managers along with Rowe, Nicholson and Burkenshaw.

I wish I shared your confidence, Sandy. As far as I’m concerned, if we don’t get past AZ, Ange can fack right off.

You really are impossible Sandy.

All I said was that the injuries aren’t an excuse because we were pretty average before them. Utterly pointless beating City and Villa when we lost to Palace and Brighton.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Lots of clubs have lost to both Brighton and Palace. Both are on impressive runs right now. No shame in losing to either. Although I expect Spurs to turn over both at WHL.

Those who wonder if Sandy is talking from the grave.......he says he's old enough to have seen Billy Nick play at WHL.

Nah mate. He won't. Don't you dare compare our worst manager in our history with 3 of our greatest.

This is the most absurd thing I've heard anyone ever say about Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.
