I never thought Nuno Espirito Sancto Ahmen was a good manager. I thought he was lousy. And the sooner he left Spurs the better for Spurs.
Now the question is whether Forest's current success is due to him, or.....due to a team of fitness coaches, trainers, strategists, sports psychologists etc working at Forest?
There has to be an explanation, and I very much doubt that it is Nuno.
That said, I think it is likely that Nuno did know more about football than the current clown that has his job at Spurs!
Also one might want to compare the current Forest squad with the Spurs squad of that time.
Finally......this season is not yet over....and there is still plenty of time for Forest to come up short. Your article is a little premature....you should have waited. Much can still happen,....and will!
Ted, Nuno had some success with wolves tbf
And I'm not exactly up on his time with spurs but it wasn't even half a season I believe.
Definitely not enough time.
It wasn't him it was us. We hired him and told him he had to play attacking football, 4 at the back. Was never gonna work
Nuno only has one way of playing and it's boring. Very effective this season, but i bet it won't work again.
He'll be sacked by the end of next season.
No manager has any hope at spurs as its the people at the top that need changing, or releasing the control of football matters to people that know what they are doing
Levy etc. have done an amazing job financially and with the new stadium, but clearly have no real idea on the important bit, the football part.
I'll agree Nuno didn't get enough time.
You guys were way premature sacking him, thats pretty obvious. But the real problem with Spurs is you think you are bigger than you actually are. Big teams win league titles, you haven't won won for 60+ years ffs.
As for Nuno, he is a little dull, no doubt about that, but there again what is more important ultimately? Back to back seventh place finishes with Wolves and now dragging a side close to relegation a year ago to the CL places and a cup semi. Quite remarkable and quite obviously down to Nuno.
Spurs really need to go all out and try and win the Carabao or FA Cup next season. Instill a winning mentality in the club.
Liverpool and United both went nearly 30 years without titles, but in that time still put loads of honours on the board.
You guys were way premature sacking him, thats pretty obvious

Very few wanted Conte out, he wanted himself out after not being backed with the players he wanted to succeed.

Your idol Levy was the one who pulled the trigger. He didn't have to, he could have kept him on and gave him more time like he's doing with Ange.
Funny how you blame the fans for this and not the owner. Sacked him after 10 games with 4 winnable games coming up.

The only reason he'd get another season is if he were to win the Europa, so presumably you think he'll do that? Even then it's not exactly guaranteed.
There is no way he sees it to next season if he doesn't win the Europa, unless he wins every remaining PL game maybe. I think you know this already though but are just trying to stir up an argument through a contradictory position.

I was annoyed over the Covrntry match, and let my feelings get out of hand. We all do that from time to time. But I have backed him every step of the way since, knowing he has had to deal with an unprecedented injury list. I want to see how it goes if Ange could put out a reasonably full strength side with minimum injuries for say 20 matches consecutively. The has never had that luxury almost since day 1.

Always backed managers being given time. I am not going to trawl back through posts, not my scene, but I suspect you were one of those that wanted Nuno, Conte, Jose out after such short stints at Spurs. Just like you want Ange out now. No wonder the club never win anything with supporters that want a change of manager every few months.

Nuno I never said I wanted him out, nor did I with Conte. I may not have liked what I was seeing but never said I wanted them out. I mean Nuno only had 10 games, of course he needed more time. I thought AVB should have had more time too.
Jose I never wanted in the first place and made my thoughts clear on that from the start but I still gave him time, although by the second season it was clear it wasn't going well.
Ange I want out and have publicly said it since the Leicester loss although really he should have been sacked after the Chelsea game. There is a certain link from Don's Dinner to a post made by you that suggested you wanted Ange out also, way before I ever said it. So yep, fans can be too quick to want to get rid at times.
