We had things go our way for four games. Apart from the first half on Friday I don’t think the last four games have been all that different in the level of performance, in fact maybe the best of the eight was in the defeat at Swansea. That’s the way it goes when there is so little between the teams. As View says we need to be a bit more assertive and hope the bounce of the ball goes our way.

I thought Jackson was decent when he came on for NML but I still hope we return to a midfield three. That allows Ebou to push forward a bit more and gives Stretch a bit more freedom. Lacking sparkling quality as we do, we need to try to get a few bodies into the box to give us more chance of a goal.

All season I have been waiting for Phillips to break his duck. He always looks a threat at set pieces. Just get a good solid nut on it Nat, and then let’s hold on for the one-nil.

....i spoke to Mr Zan earlier....he said he'd bought a Pug for his Wife as a present....apparently despite the squashed nose, bulging eyes and rolls of fat the Dog seemed to quite like her...ta ta...cheers. Terry
