Depends on results.

18 losses in a single season and he’d be a goner, and rightly so.

NEXT.

think its still a bit early for him, wanna see him do the business in the prem first at the very least

Parker and Carrick seem good championship managers already and would be sentimental managers for the future

we take former managers, you take former players

although parker did play for us and hasnt managed chelsea. it wouldnt be him anyway when Ange goes, probably Frank or someone with prem experience with the club scarred from trying someone with no top division experience. would rather persist with a young manager from spain or germany personally

Great at getting clubs promoted in the PL, not so good once they're there

Carrick’s season looked good til doak got injured, now they’ve barely won any games since.

Parker could do a job for spurs I reckon. I don’t think he’d have you challenging for the title, but he’d do ok.

As if we would go for a manager whose only experience at PL level was an abject failure.

Maybe just persuade Ange to stay then might be the better option.

12 goalless draws.

15 out of a total of 26 wins ending in a one-goal margin.

29 clean sheets in 42 games.

Fewest goals ever conceded by a Championship team.

Scott Parker is exactly what Spurs need. But the "purists" would drum him out within a couple of months.

I would be happy with Parker, I want winning football and if it happens to be good football that is a bonus but not essential.

A large section of our fanbase are a massive problem, demanding flair and attacking football over everything else.

And Levy thinks this is what fans want also, having stated "we've got our Tottenham back" after appointing Ange and giving himself a huge pat on the back in the process.

Winning football is what matters the most, anything else is a bonus.

Levy out.

Most gooons wanted Arteta out when he was boring the place to death in his first couple seasons.

Fans want to be entertained and not bored. Parker has done nothing to prove he is capable of keeping a PL team up, let alone challenging, or that he can deliver attacking football.

You don't have to be a purist to not enjoy watching your team grind out results every weekend.

Parker took Fulham up and then got them relegated with 26 points.

He took Bournemouth up, was sacked after 4 games after a 9 nil defeat at Liverpool, stating that the club were not equipped to be compete in the PL, was replaced by Gary ONeil, who then went and kept them up, in 14th.

Gary ONeil's CV is stronger than Parkers. So is Neil Warnocks!

Winning football in the Championship is no measure of whether a manager can deliver winning football in the PL.

I like Parker but I don't think he could manage us.

We (Levy) really needs to get the next appointment right.

posted on 24/4/25

l felt like he really needed to get the Ange appointment right and that hasnt turned out so well. But i do think that we had to go through a process of rebuilding the squad from the dregs of Poch's squad and the very average signings from the Jose era, and that doing this would not be easy and that the manager may be a bit of a sacrificial part in this.

Whoever does come in will have a lot more talent and potential to manage than any manager since Poch's sacking, and now that a pretty decent squad has been assembled, the next manager probably is a more important moment than the last time because we are now well placed as a squad to move forward, needing some tweaks and not major surgery.

Wouldn't shock me if he went for Rogers. If Celtic win the Treble, there aint much up there to motivate him. Gotta think he'd want another crack at a big PL job.

Wouldn't be my first choice but Celtic would probably love the chance to get Ange Back

Sandy why are you talking as if Ange has already won the Europa? It’s really weird - you’re doing it in several articles. Surely your record of bottling major trophies (Leicester title race, CL final, other semi finals) is a cause for concern

Oh and as I have seen Spurs win 14 trophies. I would hardly call that bottling. You are obviously new to football. I bet you are about 14.

I think most people are more concerned about what Nico & Inaki Williams might do to our FBs in front of their home crowd... could be very ugly

Sadly mate, you've seen the same number as the rest of us under this current "trophy shy" ownership. I'm all for harping back to 1984 but it aint relevant

No problem wth Scott Parker coming in. However would he want to as he will know the Levy mode all to well.

If Parker does come it all points back to Levy again will he back Parker or any manger we get. After all Ange has spent £400m plus....... look at us we are shambolic. Yeah in with a sniff for the Europa Cup but we are a right mess with the football played on the pitch.
