No problem wth Scott Parker coming in. However would he want to as he will know the Levy mode all to well.
If Parker does come it all points back to Levy again will he back Parker or any manger we get. After all Ange has spent £400m plus....... look at us we are shambolic. Yeah in with a sniff for the Europa Cup but we are a right mess with the football played on the pitch.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think the basis of a good squad is already in place. Just need to keep injuries to a minimum.

Well indeed, he just has to look at Ange's time, see the pathetic £350m that Levy begrudgingly spent on him and think he's probably better off at Burnley where he will be backed

12 goalless draws.
15 out of a total of 26 wins ending in a one-goal margin.
29 clean sheets in 42 games.
Fewest goals ever conceded by a Championship team.
Scott Parker is exactly what Spurs need. But the "purists" would drum him out within a couple of months.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Most gooons wanted Arteta out when he was boring the place to death in his first couple seasons.
Fans want to be entertained and not bored. Parker has done nothing to prove he is capable of keeping a PL team up, let alone challenging, or that he can deliver attacking football.
You don't have to be a purist to not enjoy watching your team grind out results every weekend.

I'm really tired of this bullshiiiiit comparison.
Yes, Arsenal fans wanted Arteta out in the first couple of years but he won an FA Cup and finished 8th two seasons in a row. They were at the start of a journey, blooding young players and building for the future. Ange has us in 16th place and given the fixtures, we could be in 17th after this weekend. That's more than twice as bad as Arteta.
We've barely played anyone of real note yet in the Europa League. Even getting to the semis is barely a par performance for a team considered favourites at the start of the year. It'll be great to win it but it certainly won't paper over the alarming cracks that have appeared during Ange's tenure.
By any measure, Ange has been an utterly catastrophic manager for Spurs. He's statistically worse than Ossie Ardiles with much better players and significantly more money to spend. There is no defence of his position at this point. None at all. Europa or not.
Scott Parker? I don’t know where you’ve plucked this link from as it has absolutely no legs whatsoever.
The favourite with the bookies, Sandy, and you’re gonna love it, is Poch…

Sandy why are you talking as if Ange has already won the Europa? It’s really weird - you’re doing it in several articles. Surely your record of bottling major trophies (Leicester title race, CL final, other semi finals) is a cause for concern
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh and as I have seen Spurs win 14 trophies. I would hardly call that bottling. You are obviously new to football. I bet you are about 14.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
On the contrary I’m in my 40s and in that period I’ve seen you win a total of 2 trophies I can remember 😂😂😂
So hardly a record that inspires the kind of unwavering confidence you seem to have. Then again it’s no different to a number of wild confident predictions you’ve made in seasons gone - none of which have ever materialised which is the reason you’re the most laughed at poster on this forum
Parker would be a strange appointment.
Lots of potential as a manager but a big gamble for Spurs, if they have genuine ambition.

Yes, but we're 16th. Arsenal were 8th when they were calling for Arteta's head.
In truth it could be a lot worse. Our xG is pretty much bang on what we've actually score. Our xG against, however, is far higher than the numbers we've actually conceded. In truth, 16th is higher than our form ACTUALLY deserves. Let that sink in.
We've had a full squad to draw upon now for the last 8 Prem matches. We've lost 7 of them. Enough is enough. He HAS to go at the end of the year. There's no defence.

Levy has always been the manager at Spurs, the rest have been head coaches or sometimes even the title manager,Levy has the purse strings in his hands thats the way it's always been, till he moves on its rinse and repeat and carry on with the business.

Another Arsenal fan with a rational voice. I swear to god, a lot of Spurs fans don't want to admit just how bad Ange is. It's like night and day compared to Arteta, even then. I remember watching Arsenal away to Watford back then and I thinking "oh god, this isn't good" because you guys looked like you were really starting to look cohesive. Saka and Smith-Rowe had started to come through and the likes of Aubameyang and Lacazette were shipped out. It reminded me of us in the first year under Poch. The gap between the two sides now is an absolute chasm and whilst Arsenal have spent more, particularly in wages, it doesn't account for such a gulf. Levy is ultimately to blame but whilst that's entirely true, it's not one or the other. Ange can also be a problem too.

Difference between having a full squad, and having players that are actually fit. Both Son and Kulu have also been missing for some of those seven or eight matches. Micky is also having to be looked after. Plus players have been rested for the Europa which is more important. So Spurs have nit played anywhere near their best side in most of those matches.

You can only fall if you actually had a manager that won trophies. Pochettino didn't. Think what you like about Ange, but he is on the cups of doing something in two seasons, something Pochettino couldn't do in five. Win a trophy, and a big one at that.

Yes, Arsenal fans wanted Arteta out in the first couple of years but he won an FA Cup and finished 8th two seasons in a row.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm really tired of this bullshiiiiit comparison.
