Just maybe the club are thinking of appointing a better manager? It appears that they are carefully considering their options by not coming out and supporting Farke.
I'm still angry that Leeds didn't sack Don Revie when we were promoted in 1964. The guy had minimal experience and none in the top flight.

Brilliant post!!
Farke's record in the PL with Norwich is not why I want him sacked, the last two seasons he's given me plenty of ammunition.

Farke has already had top flight expensive sadly for Norwich. However are you really comparing the great Don Revie ?

Again you’re missing the point…Don Revie wasn’t
great in 1964…that came later!
Yes the last two seasons have been terrible. Ninety points and possibly a hundred is not good enough. Our last two games have been terrible, boring football and no plan B. Team spirit looks rock bottom and the booing was deafening.
Maybe our owner wanted the spotlight on the players and manager and preferred to stay in the background.
Whatever his reasoning he needs to listen to the crowd reaction last night and publicly state his support for Daniel Farke.

*Marathe enters the room, opposite him is a world class manager, they conduct the interview for the recently made vacant Leeds job, the interview goes well, the manager seems interested, Marathe asks the question hanging over them all.
Marathe: Are you interested in the job.
TCM: I'm sorry, I want this job, but i just can't accept it
Marathe: But why?
TCM: The final hoke game of the season you went onto the pitch and shock the hand of Farke, I could never work for a man who shows such support for the previous manager.
Farke should just quit tbh.
Can someone elaborate/expand on what happened to those who were at the game please

Sky TV asked Marath for an interview and he declined so they decided it meant he wanted Farke out.
We will see over the next few weeks if Angus leaving is a good thing.

Don Revie also wasn't a failed top flight manager, simply no comparison and can't be used in any shape or form to Farke as a manager. He constantly fails to get the best out some players and the team. Winning matches against such inferior opposition doesn't mean he's a good manager, hence the sack talk.

You’re still not understanding the context of the debate,
who’s suggesting Farke is another Don Revie…you
really should properly read the context!
You are making out the unknown Don Revie at the time went on to be a legend. Farke isn't unknown now, already 3 promotions and 2 top flight relegations. Unknown managers can be a great success but that's irrelevant because Farke isn't unknown, witnessed poor management in so many matches. Completely different set of circumstances.

Yeah, ok
I did think the lack of publicly visable congratulations from the owners last night towards Farke spoke volumes and unfortunately for DF who I must admit has not always been my preferred choice to lead us onwards and upwards he has conducted himself with supreme class and I have nothing but respect and admiration for the man.
However if the rumours of a managerial change are indeed true then I just hope it is someone everyone on here can say okay it's very harsh on DF but the chance to have this new person taking us forwards is something the club couldn't ignore.
If it is Russell Martyn that takes over from DF then I think the owners better get themselves 24/7 personal security because that type of appointment will undoubtedly incure a huge uproar and the wrath of thousands of Leeds United supporters.
The lack of warmth shown towards Farke by the heirarchy last night may of course mean nothing is decided and both parties get around the table and forge a fine working relationship and strategy to not only survive next season but establish the club amongst the top 10 in the EPL for many years to come.
Promotion, your gripe with Farke is worst than Batty's with Bamford!..
Farke in your mind is worthless, to others he's done a great job and should be given the chance to prove himselfe with proper backing in the premiership!..
This is an incredibly important decision, the owners are doing the right thing by taking their time and maybe considering other options.
Just because he gained promotion doesn't automatically make him the right man for the PL especially considering the quality of our squad. Let's be brutally honest, there were far too many matches where we struggled especially away from home.
Obviously I want a new manager but I do get those saying he deserves a chance after the promotion.
There is no room for sentiment and he's a nice guy etc.
I based my opinion on the football matches.
However the 4 signings were excellent and Farke deserves great credit if he was responsible.
"Let's be brutally honest, there were far too many matches where we struggled especially away from home."
Surely its up to the players "he" puts on the pitch to do their job, they're as much to blame if not more than he is!..

The players that Farke picked, the players told to play a certain way by Farke. The subs and everything all done by Farke.
Ever considered he picked the wrong team Germany? Ever considered he got the subs wrong etc ?
