No he is not gay, he went out with a friend's daughter.

Not that it matters a jot, but I believe my information is sound here. I have a very good friend in Derby who lived next door to him. They used to walk their dogs together. He was living with his male partner then. This was just before he went to Watford. I don't know if she is still in touch with him. He did go to Repton of course. If you Google you will find he has no wife and no girlfriend. Its not important and I only mentioned it in relation to Morsy because of his attitudes.

Interesting you mention Repton, I wonder why.

The original post made sense. If Morsy is homophobic than someone who is pro may not necessarily join.

I know Will Hughes was with someone from London for a few years now (whether they've broken up?) and that they have a two year old boy who looks just like his old man.

I've always liked them and looked out for their results whilst Cloughie was with them first time round. The 'rivalry' always felt forced, from their end. Hope they have a good season, Bowyer did an absolute fantastic job saving them from relegation last season.

Norwich always seem to have a knack of buying cheap and selling high. In this instance on a free and sold for £14 million! Spanish winger Sainz who hit a hat trick against us has joined Porto.

VC, I’m not trying to turn anything around. As said, it does not matter to me what anyone does in their private life. I only mentioned this in the context of two hypothetical scenarios, that of Morsy signing for Derby and that of Hughes ever returning.

I have been and still am a huge fan of Hughes. I watched him before he made the first team, was there when he made his debut and still watch him on TV whenever he is playing. As with yourself, he is a special favourite of mine.

It was a passing comment because of what was said to me by my friend. I have absolutely no reason to disbelieve her, nor do I care. She didn’t care either and she isn’t a football fan, just someone she got to know.

I don’t really know what we are arguing about. Who cares?

So, moving on …. Callum Brittain apparently wants to sign for Boro but the clubs can’t agree on a fee. Might open the door for Derby but presumably only if we out bid Boro which seems unlikely.

As for Burton … 20% bonus per player per point gained. Ludicrous.

We are still light on players for me. I’m still hoping we might get Armstrong back and I also would ask about Ozoh if he is fit. Then we need one or two wide players and a full back or two. Most of the players we have been linked with are still available and it seems the market generally is slow. It should pick up soon now that pre-season is under way and all of the agents etc are back from their hols.

Armstrong is the big one for me, getting him back would be great. Players have got to know him so gelling period shouldn't take long. Him and Ozoh would be an excellent coup but big risk if Ozoh were to breakdown again.

All three Rovers players mentioned (Travis, Dolan and Brittain) sound good but I don't really want to become known as Derby Rovers. Maybe just two of them would be OK although I suspect Rovers would not sanction deals for Travis and Brittain. Dolan is I believe a free agent although some compensation would be payable.
