Welcome to the 9th annual summer thread. I'm quite keen to put last season behind us and look forward to a 5th season in league one. Can Steve Schumacher succeed where Ian Evatt failed and get Bolton promoted to the championship? Will keep up to date with news, incomings and outgoings, pre season fixtures, fixture announcements etc. It might just be me commenting. Will keep the top page updated.

So four taking a taxi, Ricardo Santos, Gethin Jones, and
Goalkeepers Nathan Baxter and Joel Coleman are all out.

I'm not really surprised but there will be others going when they learn that they don't fit into the manager's plans. It will be interesting to seewhat happens. One thing is for sure, We need big changes and recruit players who have the skill, desire, and mental ability to achieve promotion next season. Otherwise, it should result in a change of manager.

Looking at the out of contract bunch next summer. Not counting the youngsters I can't see any of them extending their stay beyond next summer so the easiest to move on. Nlundulu, Osei-Tutu, Forrester, Dempsey, Mendes Gomes are sicknotes and I wouldn't be sorry if any left early this summer. Adeboyejo out injured until the new year so he stays. Cogley never injured so I see him an essential part of the squad, Johnston did well considering he came back from a bad injury so yes would keep those 2 with Southwood as number 2 keeper.

Looking at the long term contracted. Randall has to be given a chance after a pre season. Key players Toal, Thomason, Forino, Sheehan, Morley, Collins. Lolos isn't good enough and would loan out somewhere. Schon and McAtee spent big money on those 2 but would not be upset if we sold them on. Was a rumour McAtee has been told to find another club.

Lot of rumours going around. Ennis striker from stoke, sharman lowe a keeper on loan from Chelsea, midfielders Ryan ledson on a free from Preston and Jamie jellis from Walsall, Sean roughan a left back from Lincoln. Nothing will happen for now with the season still going in the premier league and play offs with players who's season finished on holiday. The transfer window opens 1st June to 10th June. Close and reopen June 16th and close September 1st. Both close at 7pm.

Hi Benny, I'm sorry not to have posted much but I still have a mountain of work to do on the house. Apart from that being involved at the sharp end with Reform UK, the job of treasurer takes up more of my time than I expected. However, it has been very rewarding watching out candidates take the vast majority of seat in the local elections.

I have just taken a look at the BN but nothing on their has inspired me to write anything. I will try to keep more of an eye on what is happening and hopefully posrt more.

I find it strange. The lad will be 23 soon and barely played. When the new keeper comes in (sharman-lowe)he will be 3rd choice and older than the first choice keeper. I can only see another loan out for him.
