Stories about Lolos being left behind and been told to get himself out there for a move.
First of the midfield gang to be shifted perhaps.
Team news for Orlando Pirates game:
Sharman Lowe,
Decres-Cogley, Inwood, Forino, Taylor;
Medes-Gomes, Sheehan, Thomason, Randall, Warren;
Adimbola.
Gale isn't injured but is too far behind the rest in terms of where he is for pre season
Game is on Bolton's Youtube* if you need it.
*subject to the training centre's iffy WiFi.
Abimbola looks like he's already being a handful.
Some neat spells of play but not really a lot going on attacking wise both ends.
Half Time: 1-0 Bolton Charlie Warren with the goal after a wide free kick was headed on by Thomason and Warren finished it well.
Got into the game from about the 30th minute. The heat hasn't helped some of the play but it's still early on.
Second half team:
Trialist,
Osei-Tutu, Johnston, Toal, Conway
Cozier-Duberry, Simons, Morley, Schon
McAtee,
Lawrence.
Johnston made it two about 55 minutes in with a good header from a corner.
Been a lot better play this second half, a lot more pressing and it's led to better play all round.
Game finishes 2-0 to Bolton.
Trialist keeper has been named as Nathan Broome, once of Swansea.
Saw about 20 minutes on my phone at work. This is the official match report

Another keeper departure
https://www.bwfc.co.uk/news/robins-swoop-land-luke-loan
That's 4 out Baxter, Southwood, Coleman, Hutchinson.
Only a loan. He'll be back.
Anyway match action v Barrow.
1st half some choice fouls mostly from Barrow but a few scares for the Bolton goal.
2nd half. Max Conway scores a decently controlled outside of the foot sliced shot from just inside the box and it's 1-0 Bolton after 55 minutes.
67 minutes in and the multitude of subs arrived on the hour looking sharp and opening Barrow up at will. No further scoring but not for the want of chances created.
Full time 1-0.
A few bruises tomorrow I should imagine. A better standard second half. I think we need that experienced striker though.
Was more excited when the subs came on. Simons looks a stronger version of Sheehan who you can't see being bullied off the ball. Duberry and Gale look exiting players. Don't know if the plan is to start them both or use one off the bench. Disappointed in Schon I just can't see what he brings to the side on the right, he's too one footed really not sure where he fits in. Up top is an issue. McAtee looks better in a 10, abimbola and Lawrence look no where near ready for first team football. Warren looks the best bet looked good last night. Really need someone in before Stockport.

Sounds like Thomason is off to Wrexham. Don't think it's good this as I don't rate Dempsey, Sheehan, Morley in a 2. I was really looking forward to Thomason and Simons together.

I've linked the Hibs one over bwfc as they made an effort with the sub times.
Nice day out, no trouble. Comfortable winner against 3rd in the Scottish premier League. Looking good just lacking a striker. One injury Taylor limped off. Hopefully not serious. Bid accepted for Thomason . Thinking now good business as Simons and Morley looked a good partnership. Also got Sheehan and sharples Ahmed who we need to develop.
Taylor coming off was a precaution at the behest of the player who felt something. Nothing too bad yet but this is Bolton Wanderers after all.
Warren injury is wrist when he diving headered the keeper in the Barrow game. He'll miss the start of the season but we weren't really counting on him yet anyway.
Need that striker in now really and we'll be good to go.
