Arab its a Serie A team, you arent getting a sale
That offer on the table is not a bad deal tbf
Tbh the way the club are treating him is very low class. My biggest gripe with this new United is how they treat people. Zero regard for any player or any member of staff on a human level. Very low class behaviour.
Hojlund seems to be taking the snub like a professional and if he wants to stay and fight for his place well done to him. Looks like he’s ready to stay even if it means very little game time.
Feel sorry for the lad because he clearly has the right attitude unlike some of the others we are looking to off load. It could be argued he's been a victim of the the overall lack of quality and creativity in the team last season as it struggled to come to term with Amorims system. He looked a lad totally bereft of confidence at the end of last season. I'd personally give him next season as a back up to sesko but today shows amorim wants rid
A loan may be the best for all parties right now.
He’s not intelligent enough to play the number 9 in Amorims system, so what’s the point in keeping him even as a back up? It was quite evident towards the end of last season that Chido was far more adept in the role.
Not the worst player in the world but certainly one of our worst striker signings of the post SaF era. Genuinely looked like a deer in the headlights and one of those rare occasions I was right about a signing
I hope I’m wrong on Sesko (I don’t rate him) however
Another option to buy that won’t be taken up
It’s a good deal on paper but I don’t have much confidence in Rasmus to make them want to pay the fee to sign him at the end.
Well probably be trying to shift Zirkzee or Sesko by next summer so there will be other options out there for tight fckin Italian clubs to do another loan deal for.

Imagine trying to shift Sesko next summer. I'd never trust this club to buy a striker ever again.

Add its customers to that list.
Its the INEOS way of doing business. Who knew? As United fans we have to learn to suck that up if we want them to continue as minority/or even majority owners. Or we can choose to cease patronising them finacially.
What do you expect? , Jim the rat is a caaant. Fires loads of staff then suddenly finds 300m to spend. .
It's funny, if a player says he wants to go away, we criticise him for no player loyalty, if he wants to fight and stay, we criticise him for not sodding off
Fans can be as fickle as players, and choose the argument to suit us best.
My view on Hojlund has always been the same - we overpaid, but he could have turned out decent enough if he wasn't trying to lead the line alone and we gave him a seasoned pro to help him - he had Rashy, who has expereince but isn't that type of player, and Zirkzee, who is new and trying to establish himself also.
Not surprisingly his confidence has taken a knock, and this game is just as much in the head as well as physical attributes and skill.
I don't know him, he might be thinking, wow, we got some decent forwards who i can actually play with, he might be thinking, why should I be helpful to them, they haven't helped me much, or a mixture of the 2.
In an ideal world, where the financials don't come into it, I would like him to remain as part of the squad, to really see what he can do, maybe with limited chances, but hopefully in a more potent attack.
Going on loan would be good, because if he can find his mojo that helps with his development and ultimately selling fee if it comes to that.
And of course we could just sell him outright and go, let's just accept this one wasn't meant to be.
Look, everyone thinks he's not being treated well but I have to say maybe we treat them too well? I don't know what other club has so much difficulty getting rid of players who are wanted by other clubs and unwanted by us.
Are they overpaid? Loved too much by the fans? There's only so much you can love about Manchester to basically not want to go to Milan or Leipzig. It is a longstanding problem we need to change. We have over a million a month in wages just doing nothing, not to talk of their transfer implications in FFP, are we not going to try and improve our squad?
I’m not condoning the way INEOS sacked the staff at the club but wasn’t it reported that our clubs employee numbers were way bigger than any other PL club so needed to get rid of quite a few which was never going to go down well.
If (and it’s a big if) the club can function perfectly well after all these layoffs then maybe they were actually needed.
I guess what makes things complicated are the differences in cost the average United employee earns compared to a first team player and how poorly we’ve been at recruiting players which then wastes so much more money than any any average employee. But that’s part and parcel of running a big sports club.

Probably reported by ineos ….
There is a good reason why MUFC need more lowpaid marchday stewards, barstaff waiters and cleaners than the likes of Bournemouth
Instead of Rasmus, why not get rid of Sancho and Antony.

I don’t think anyone has said they shouldn’t? The point was that United have more staff than any other PL club and that we did probably need to cut down on numbers. How we have gone about it and the ruthlessness was probably not ideal but we did likely need to get rid of quite a few people however difficult that was always going to be.
Last year we had 1,140 employees and between 100-500 more than the other big sides in the PL and were aiming to sack around 200-300.
Who is we. It's Man United. I support the workers here. They are we and United are them..... for me.

Im a 'fan 'of Starmer, am I?
If someone goes on about how great they are for months while mocking those who questioned him as a potential PM I’d call them a fan.
