2-1 either way.
Gyokeres and Bruno to score.
I just hope our new forwards show some.
Almost all our transfer budget this year and next along with all our resources and effort's should go towards building a midfield 2 of Wharton and Baleba. Would compliment each other so well. Watching Wharton now vs Chelsea, he is special.
And how does that help us get rid of Onana Mike FFS?
Bayindir starts and Onana not in the squad. Still not ready after injury apparently.
Team is in.
Altay
Dalot
Yoro
DeLigt
Shaw
Dorgu
Casemiro
Bruno
Mbeumo
Cunha
Mount

Some good news then
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Given the choice of Bayindir and Onana I would rather have the latter
At least I think it is. The way Utd post their line ups is horrendous!

Urgh, please sign a facking midfielder
Some decent options on the bench though.
If we stay in the match Amad, Sesko, Mainoo would be good subs to bring on.

I still think that Baleba transfer could happen.
Fack this shiyte, massive groans around on the tram when the team came out.
Look to buy an attacking right sided player so Amad could be the attacking RWB, then just bench Amad anyway the first big game? Could’ve just spent the Mbeumo money on a CM instead and played Amad further up.
Cunha wasted central too imo, whole reason he came was we needed someone to drive with the ball from deep as we have no ball carriers, spend £60m on him then play Mount in his position.

Shaw Ffs
Hope I'm wrong but that midfield is gonna get run through and with no 9 we won't be able to hold the ball, might have to get through this one with crowd and Brexit football, bish bosh

Amorim is turning out to be a very risk averse manager not what I expected at all, he has a lot to prove putting a team out at OT and this line up is a real deflater
What we have to remember is that those starting the first game of the season won't necessarily be the players that'll play all through the season. It's still early doors and perhaps the line up today reflects where they are physically too? By September I'd expect changes to the best first XI.
Yeah the midfield is fcked either way it would be run through and we’ll be penned in imo. Without even playing a striker there’s no out.

With our fixture list he will be hanging onto his job by September we’ve done the Mount business to death it just doesn’t work lovely hard working lad that he his so is Rasmus

This is another problem, why are we never ready for the start of the season, it's not like it appears as a suprise, yes u can't help injuries I'm pre s wdon but just once I would like a fully fit ready to go 11 for 1st game, we've been badly lacking compared to others first few games of the season the last few years, hey hopefully I'm wrong and we come out flying but that midfield of cam and someone who's legs are completely gone frighten me

All that involves Bruno somehow being an attacking midfielder or leaving. Everyone wants to basically sack Amorim just so we can build a team around Bruno.
Bruno will be off to Saudi next summer imo.
He’s here this year to help the rebuild and the transition period for Amorim, he’s a good captain by all accounts.
His fee would go some way to rebuilding the midfield with our new front 3 already in place.
Bruno should have gone this year especially with the 2 tens we got, we basically would have had baleba playing today in his place if he had left maybe even Wharton to alongside

Brighton didn’t want to sell him this year by what the credible Journalists said. Don’t think they care whether Bruno was here or not.
