Thanks for doing the match thread for these last few months. Always 5 star. Your efforts are much appreciated.

I think Nuno should sack Jorge Mendes and sign up with Kia Joorabchian.

Sad to hear this bear, I happen to think this site is among the most sensible around. Well balanced views / arguments. We seemed to be far busier when in the championship.

I post on LTLF. It’s the best forum I’ve found. Generally a nice bunch as long as you don’t get into politics!

I post as Red Dog in a Dinghy!

Thanks for all your match threads RFB, and I totally agree with your sentiments, also thanks Morninchile for the LTLF link.
I am struggling to understand why Nuno has decided to ‘rock the boat’ at this particular juncture in time, seems very strange, obviously he doesn’t see eye to eye with Edu, but unfortunately it looks like there will only be one winner, and that won’t be Nuno.
I’d like to think this could be resolved, but as someone else stated, you don’t call out the godfather with no repercussions.
Puts the players in a very difficult place, but their allegiance has to be to the club.
I am hoping it won’t affect today’s performance, but in reality is will only give the Palace fans more ammunition to fire at us, it’s going to be a very ‘special’ atmosphere.
Pretty sure Palace haven’t beaten us since our return to the Prem, but today will be a massive challenge, again, hoping we are up for it and not distracted.
It will be very interesting to see the team selection, and the bench, and further on, what substitutes will play a part.
It’s going to be interesting, but I have to edge towards Palace on this one, possibly 2-1, though I’d love to be wrong.

Hoping Forest might get an away win - more than possible despite the off-field nonsense.

Having said that; 1-1.

They’ve beaten us once in the last 15 games.

Keep our heads and play to our full potential.

Thank you for efforts RFB. Shame there aren’t more of us on here

So much unnecessary drama over this fixture.
Dunno if I’m alone on this but personally I wouldn’t begrudge Palace being in the Europa League and us in the Conference tbh. The Conference League is very winnable for any PL team. Fair enough, UEFA said they broke the rules, hardly the Forest fans’ fault.

Would be a shame if Nuno’s time with us was to come to an end in the coming days

Hope the players stay professional and get the 3 points

Thanks for the nice comments chaps. lets hope we get a result!

Palace shaded the half I think. Things not quite coming off for Forest. Aina, N’Doye and Sangare need to do a bit more. CHO coming off his wing allowing Neco to overlap seems to be a ploy for Forest.

We seemed a bit passive in the first half, soft goal to conceded, MGW flick gives possession away in a very dangerous area, then no one track Sarr. At 1-0 we are definitely capable of a point, concede again and its probably game over.

Yes, we’re back in this

Cracking ending to that game, could have been 2-1 to us in added time alone.
We looked decent, certainly didn’t deserve to lose.
Take a point, onto the Hammers next week, definitely winnable, if all calms down off the pitch.

Fair result. Both sides had chances to win it late on. Mcatee the pick of the debutants.

4th in the league.

What a horrible bunch of whiners palace are. Moaned about every decision! They need someone to take responsibility on and off the pitch. Nothing is their fault and they can’t do anything wrong! They were 1-0 nil up and showed no leadership or fight. They were supposed to be the home team. Their chairmen needs to be a leader and instead he has folded and lost his head. Not standing up to be counted.

Forest on the other hand came out second half dominated the game and should have won it really!

Not a bad result away to a side that has beaten city City for the cup and Liverpool to the Charity Shield is. Throw in a little anger towards us from their fans. Let’s thrash the Hammers next Sunday.

Excellent assist from Dan Ndoye and a cool finish by Callum Hudson-Odoi 👏. Near misses from Igor Jesus & Omari Hutchinson. Hope that wasn’t a farewell from Nuno at the end… 🤞

That’s now 4 straight draws at Selhurst Park since we came back up.

COYR 🔴🌳

If we drew them in a Cup competition at Selhurst Park, we’d may as well scrap the 90 mins and extra time and go straight to pens.
