Have we ever been the winning team in a 'cup upset'?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How about the last round?
Hardly when we're both in the same league.
We beat Wet Bum away 2-1 a few years ago in the FA Cup when they were in the Premier. I bumped into Mel Morris in the street outside when he was still a hero. There was also the League Cup quarter final win at Stoke with Nathan Ellington's late penalty.
Scouse knows nowt.

When we were in the second division we beat Brian Clough’s Forest. My favourite ever season when we were in the second division we beat first division Chelsea and Everton. We should have won the league cup that season. We lost to Swindon from Div 3 after a replay idespite playing almost the entire game at the baseball ground in their half. Sometimes things aren’t meant to be.

The season after our one premier league win we managed to beat more premier league teams than we did when we were in the premier league. Another record no doubt.
The 2-0 home win against Forest with Archie's free kick was a magnificent win. There were almost 2 complete divisions between the teams.
Travis has signed apparently …
What a pity I omitted to add 'recently', (however, for Spart that means anything after 1888).
Sturm Graz right-back Max Johnston has agreed terms on a four-year deal with Derby County

The Callum Paterson we were promised but never got. Just got to find 'Russell' and 'Bryson'
Just for Igor;
Travis deal done and dusted. Expect the announcement later today/tomorrow.
Can we do a joint one with Johnston ?

Oh dear I didn't realise he'd been found guilty of molesting a youg woman. I should have known as he tried to fondle my daughter some years ago when he was DJing a do.
I'm cross that Arsenal continued to play Partey when he has allegedly done some worse things than DLT. Enough to put you off your cornflakes.
Just had a look at a video compilation of Max Johnston on YouTube. Certainly does look good in the Austrian league, whether or not he can deliver that same level of performance in the Champ time will tell. Speed and ability to deliver good crosses and through balls seem to be his assets as an attacking RB he can also play a little with his left foot too.
Rangers fans are already up in arms that they didn't make a move for him. But then they're always an angry bunch of fans!
Do you think Callum Paterson actually set off to join us, and got lost? I worry that he is sitting forlornly at a railway station somewhere, waiting for a lift that never arrives. Sad.

He broke his leg when he was due to join and after rehab took a wrong turn and ended up in Cardiff.
Now playing under an ex Derby manager and doing well.
Derby County: Vickers (GK), Forsyth, Osborn, Brewster, Jackson, Elder, Rooney, Ward, Sanderson, Adams (C), Clark.
Substitutes: O’Donnell (GK), Wilson, Clarke, Weimann, L Thompson, Goudmijn, Nyambe, Brown, Wheeldon.
