I don't see the point, but I think he may even walk. He doesn't look happy, he's hinted the players aren't playing for him and he doesn't strike me as the type to hold on for money.
I just don't see a good alternative. Of all the young, foreign managers out there, he was the one all of our fans and a lot of big clubs were looking at.
We could go PL proven, but then we're starting all over again, giving our players the easy way out all over again.
All united fans want him sacked.
All fans of every other club want him to remain manager.
That should tell you enough.

He's already said he'd walk without a pay off if the club wanted.
He looks like he's checking out. Ideally he decides he's had enough and walks.
His system is a huge issue. It's not the way top teams play. You've undoubtedly improved the squad, giving them a better foundation would get better results but he's not going to change his idea.

For the time being, yes. I'd give him the next 3/4 PL games and expect the players to put in performances like against Arsenal.
If we don't then yes, we need a change. I just don't see who will be available so early into the season.
Any ideas?
I want him to succeed, of course... But i'm struggling.. The formation, the football, the man management (or lack of) of the players he doesn't want, even the hiding away from the penalties... It's all making to very hard to see the positives.

It's funny how a week changes things.
We were all full of positivity following a decent window, the payer/ manager interviews and a good showing against Arsenal.
Though I agree, we've gone backwards since ETH left, which is depressing to say.
Losing a promising young player, for whatever reason, is always frustrating and disappointing. Given that United aren't overwhelmed with talent at the moment pushing Mainoo out - and that's what it looks like - is fecking insane.

The arsenal game was an anomaly
No manager should be sacked after 3 games, especially not one who’s just been allowed to spend £200m+ in the summer. Let’s see what he can do over the coming months before we all start wetting ourselves
Ask again at 5pm tomorrow
I reckon we might have a few suicides on this site by then if we don’t win.
NO one should want a Man United manager to get sacked. That usually means we're doing badly.
Let's see how we go tomorrow. If we did play well over the 90 and win then that would be 5 halves out of 6 we've done OK in in the PL this season.
I know that's clutching at straws but the metrics do suggest we're better than the results are showing. We just need average keeping and average forward play to get better results.
Nay
Sick of sacking managers. It's time we went through all the pain and come out the other side.
Alternative, more players new manager doesn't want, more players who need to be sold but can't be, more dejection in the squad, more distuption, more new players needed to suit the next guy, more mish mash of a squad. More failure, more sacking the next manager, repeat.
I honestly don't mind if we have to get worse before we get better no matter how long it takes, that's football.
