28 points from 29 games is beyond unacceptable for a United manager. Managers of smaller clubs have been sacked for a lot less.

Dont want to see him sacked but think its inevitable he goes now in the next 5-6 games. He might choose to walk away.
I can see 2 wins maybe 3 max in our next 8 games. Not enough to keep his job.
Ultimately the players haven't been able to adapt to his formation and tactics.

Thing is.... with the fixture list being so harsh for United early doors .... if we had beat Grimsby, he could be forgiven for not beating Arsenal, City, Chelse Liverpool in the first quarter of the season. Now on the back of Grimsby we have Burnley at home (now a must win and I going to the game so I expect to win!) that).

I don’t want to see any United manager sacked. I want Amorim to be successful.
I just can’t see his formation working though. Maybe with a few more summers, he might get 15 players that are all the perfect profiles and fit, but it was always unrealistic he would get that much time.
Results will dictate his future, as they do with all managers.
He has made some bad decisions in my opinion, in terms of tactics and player handling. Others would argue not. Who the f knows anymore. All I know, is the results will do the talking.
If he fails to win tomorrow, I think the writing will be on the wall for him regardless of what anyone says going into the int break.
Personally, I think we would be better off with a different manager long term who plays 4 at the back.

I have been struggling for some while now to see why he shouldn’t be sacked.
So, yes from me.

Thing is......does anyone have any hope that a new manager will do well? We have tried an experienced PL coach, two European legends, a club legend and now two hipster coaches.....what's left? 🤣

Tomorrow is a must win. Failure to win and suddenly we’re going into back to back games with City and Chelsea with no wins.
A scrappy single goal victory is no good to us tomorrow either imo.

I'd rather lose to Grimsby by not playing 5 defenders, than playing 5 defenders, to be fair.
5 defenders against Grimsby? should be an immediate dismissal

Mostly agree Diafol - however it requires both legs, desire and ability.
We have legs in half of our squad, but most of them can’t control a football.

United would be crazy to sack him right now after the money they have spent for him in this window so far.
But then INEOS are a bit mental like that
Id miss seeing Amorim fiddling with his Shoot annul, tactics board game on his lap without any of his coaches or players around him taking notes, but in full view of the TV cameras. That charade was priceless. Grimsby must have cacked themselves.

Dazza when he hears Amorim has been sacked...and when he finds out Jose is replacing him.

I don’t want him to be sacked but surely it’s getting to the point where if results don’t improve quickly he’ll have to go.

It's funny one of the favourites to replace Amorim, shuld he leave, is another three at the back manager.
I still maintain the system isn't the biggest issue. It can work. It just needs more legs than we have at present IMO.

Mostly agree Diafol - however it requires both legs, desire and ability.
We have legs in half of our squad, but most of them can’t control a football.
