Liverpool aren't exactly exciting playing slot ball. VVD standing with his foot on the ball and more than double the backwards passes compared to forward it's kind of repetitive.
The exciting days of klopp are gone.

Well you play winning stuff, which is great for Liverpool fans but not great for the neutral anymore.
Why are Liverpool fans so obsessed with Arsenal

Carra is a tool these days anyway...or he has been since Van Dijk said he does even make the bench in a Liverpool all time XI

To be honest that reads like a reflection of a game state driven by the opponents. I read the other day that Bournemouth, Newcastle and Arsenal have the lowest xG against and those were LFC's first three opponents after all
Newcastle must be up there, hoof the ball to the big man, play for corners, free kicks and long throws.
They've jus bought that giant from Germany now as well, they will not be changing anytime soon.
Also, thugish players like Jeolinton, Guimarães, Burn, Schar.
God awful football.
Good fun to watch footy and the prem don't exactly go hand in hand these days. Awful to watch for the most part.
Can't vote for Stoke so voted for Arsenal instead, same thing.
City - all foreplay and no action, utter shiete
Arsenal - reliant on set pieces against anyone half decent (insert your Spurs joke here)
Newcastle - agree with Lord Dowlias, proper long ball craaap hoping Gordon gets on the end of something
Fulham - I’m always amazed when they score, it’s always seems out of nowhere as they do faaack all but go sideways for most the game
We are good to watch for neutrals and haters.
- Exciting end to end games, with no control or boring sustained periods of possession.
- We play some real nice football in the build ups of attacks to be fair, so some element of nice stuff.
- Comical finishing, and misses, at the end of said attacks.
- Banter goalkeeping errors.
- Dropped points.
Are you not entertained!?

True words spoken by VVD
Not trying to be mean, but i dont think Carra makes the top 15 CBs of his era
If Carragher doesn’t come through the Liverpool system then Liverpool don’t buy him. He would be stuck at Southampton, Palace, etc. The same could be said of Phil Neville. These guys benefited from being club trained/homegrown.
Harry Winks has played in a Champions league final for the exact same reason.
VVD had to fight to the top.

No way. Carragher was outstanding for a good few seasons. Obviously he’s not in the best centre back of PL era category but he’s certainly next tier down. He also got the team out of a hole on multiple occasions playing different positions to a good standard.
But yeah he’s certainly got on board with controversial nonsense statements to create rage. He’d do well on Talksport.

Toor i do respect him and the career he had, but when you start writing down the best CBs of the 00s you realise he is up against it in terms of where he ranks
Jamie Carragher was no worse than John Terry. He was however not as good as Japp Stam, Marcel Desailly, Tony Adams and that is just the premier league. The 90's and early noughties had some top notch defenders, better than most of today. To name a few:-
Bixente Lizarazu
Lilian Thuram
Cafu
Frank de Boer
Roberto Carlos
Paolo Maldini
Javier Zanetti
Laurent Blanc
I know they are not all center halves but I just have fond memories of those defenders.
