Wolfie .. KOP F card for tonights games ??
Came away from the game last night feeling that Andre was by far the best player on the pitch. Reading today that he completed 100% of his passes and was successful in 100% of his dribbles. Hope the injury he picked up in the second half doesn’t keep him out of Saturday’s match.
I think Andre's best position is playing as a pivot in front of a back four. Hopefully he gets a long run being able to do that. It would give other midfielders a bit more freedom to press higher if we play that way too.
Andre has fell out with the clubs hierarchy and has an agreement to leave in January. He was sold a pack of lies by Lil Jeff, and is understandably disappointed with the direction the club is heading in.
Don’t expect more than a few cameos between now and January
I didn’t feel that last night was much of a radical change of formation to what we’ve seen previously this season. Doherty on the right of the defence was generally occupying the position of a right sided centre back with Munetsi playing wide ahead of him. While on the left Hugo was playing just as far forward as he had previously. Once Grealish came on then Doherty played wider to counter him, a job I thought he did well. And not long after that, with Everton having their best spell of the game, we brought on Toti for Arias and went fully to a back 5. So I would say it was a kind of hybrid move from a 3 to a 4 back line. Certainly not the traditional back 4 set up.
I think the Hybrid Back 3/4 is what I’ve been advocating for quite some time now. Teams needs to adapt in and out of possession.
No coincidence that as soon as we adopt my Hybrid system, we see our first clean sheet 👍
Fabio had an abductor injury when he signed for Dortmund in the summer and has been out of action since. But he is set to make his debut this weekend

He has been doing good there since he arrived a few years ago. Never understood the venom against him here, looked decent to me. Not a world beater but certainly good enough to get game time.

Anyway, I've no idea what you were trying to achieve by digging up one of (I assume DJ,'s) posts from about a year ago, but if I've missed the point and there was some logic to this i most humbly apologise. And as Cinci pointed out he had indeed scored from his one appearance this season so we're both wrong all along
