RIP Dickie.
He was one of the best when there were some really fast bowlers about.
RIP Dickie
He genuinely was a National Treasure
Thought he already died tbh.
RIP.
8 short of a century. 🥀
Legend of the game
R I P Dickie.
Dickie transcended sport, i am not a cricket fan but admired everything he stood for.
He was true Yorkshire, no airs and graces, just said what he thought, and he was seldom wrong.
Will be sadly missed by many.
The man was a true sporting legend.
RIP Dickie. .
One of the greatest Englishmen, I’d put him alongside Jack Hargreaves and Fred Dibnah for pure eccentricity in the best possible way. Proud to be British when I think of Dickie.
‘Not a Dickie Bird’ is something my dad says all the time, main reason i knew of this guy
