chrisdgooner I agree Diaby is too inconsistent. I think that injuries aren't helping him, though. If he can just keep himself fit for the rest of the season we will have a hell of a player. Sadly I really don't see him going 2 weeks without picking up some sort of niggling injury never mind the rest of the season.

"..Diaby we must not forget..."

-------------------

Sadly I think we might as well.

We need to use our wage bill a lot more wisely than we have done and so as far as possible must offload the players that continue to contribute little or nothing to the clubs through the seasons.

As much as I like him, Diaby falls into this catagory, so if he can stay fit for 5 minutes, hopefully we can sell him, if not as early as January, then definitely next summer.

I wanted this to be THE season he proved his doubters wrong.

Unfortunately for the guy and those of us that have championed him, his lack of availability has done anything but.

Anyone think that Jack could play wide and replace either Theo, or Gervinho?

Or would that just "Arshavin" him.

Wasn't he a left winger before? Jack reminds me a lot of Iniesta who can play on the wings himself. I think we need him in the middle though.

I think it will be make or break (bad choice of word) for Diaby once (if) he returns. He'll have to show that he can remain fit for starters and then prove that he can be consistent.

Shame Dan Smith crippled him so badly all those years ago.

Its a difficuls choice here.

I reckon Arteta gives the midfield more balance by keeping the attack tickking and passing the ball. He allows Ramsey to have more freedom in advanced

Wilshere gives us more attacking power. When he's got the ball, he likes to dribble woth the ball and have the occasional 1-2. He also gritty in defence with his tackeling (maybe its an english thing) Last year it was Song and Wilshere together woth Fabregas more advance and I reckon Song and Wilsher with Ramsey in advance will work aswell.

Diaby is POWERFUL. He's great at keeping te ball and probably better at defence thean Wilshere and Arteta. He's also skillful and scores goal. And this 'injury prone' thing is stupid. Yes he gets injured but thats more down to unlucky. All of his injuries has been from bad tackling.

Here is a short video of Diaby.

Do any of you fine Arsenal fans read popbitch?

An extract that has me more worried than a greek tax payer:

One rumour to reach us is that England's
other potential superstar, Jack
Wilshere's injury and recuperation are
worse than has been said publicly.
Bone grafts and spending time in a
wheelchair are being discussed.
Along with a timeframe that wouldn't
seem to allow a tournament next summer
