Sorry Afridi but I can't take Pakistan serious after years of allegations and more recently proven facts of back handed money movements....
So as far as your question goes.....even if Pakistan were playing my mob Australia I wouldn't be interested.
I feel it will take at least 10 years for Pakistan to be taken serious, only if they can stay clean for that period of which I doubt..

Come January the Pak-Eng series will get its hype and Aus-India series will be on the backburner with Neon only threads rated 1 star
Of course it will kash........the press do need to sell papers to keep a wage coming in.....they will make out it's the series of the year in order to do just that..
I can't wait for either series to get going. Going to be a great few weeks of cricket with some cracking matches.
South, you've made that point before. Thats fair enough, each to their own mate..... the point of the article wasnt about taking on side based on your own nationality, it was based on the quality of cricket and the ups and downs between the two series..... I just feel the pak/eng series will be alot closer and therefore more appealing to the netural?
Neon - yet again you state the obvious.... off course, you will be watching both...and will take a more interest in the india series...... Not the point though. Not the point fella.
Southsydney i do love watching the boxing day test no matter who the Aus play. It's become a bit of ritual for me after Eastenders.
Hang on a second Googly we have got to have Christmas tucker yet......don't wish it to come to quick....
Ahhh too true sydney. How i have missed a turkey sandwich in front of the boxing day test though !

Both series look fantastic, i will be more than happy to watch every ball of both!!
Let's all concentrate on the cricket boys & girls & not get dragged into silly politics
The Boxing day test in Melbourne is a long standing tradition in which every Aussie loves.....
I would hate to own a food van though, everyone would be taking pork, turkey or ham left overs....

Neon,
If pak/eng gets more attention on here, it wont have anything to do with the fact that theres more pakistanis and english on this site............it'll have to do with the quality and intridguing match on the pitch.
In the summer, the indians gave up on here, and it got soo boring for the english fans, even they didnt want to talk about the cricket. If pak/eng is as one-sided i'd expect the same here, minus the pak fans doing a runner though.....

England whoudl wipe the floor with Pakistan....the ONLY reason they may not do it so easily, is beacuse of the conditions.

If this was played anywhere else in the world...its a no brainer.
------------------------------
Pakistan were 1 wicket away from levelling the series 2-2 in England last year. We had such a poor team without Khan, Misbah, Taufeeq, Hafeez and were still competitive so while playing Englang in England will favour England it does not mean it will be a walkover like they had against India.
If the same game was played at 1 venue in each cricket playing country...I woudl say the India\Aus would be alot closer.
England would win most of the ones against Pak.

Both series look great & you wouldn't be a cricket fan if you weren't excited about both!
Let's just wait & see what happens before you guys start arguing about something that hasn't even happened.
