Apparently deep in quality squad that's been rotated twice in the cups and lost twice.
Lovely stuff.
Watched The Many Saints of Newark yesterday.
Have to say it was disappointing. Won’t put any spoilers on.
It’s like you’re waiting for certain characters to say their catchphrase and seemed a bit cliched or even slapstick in their delivery.
Just didn’t do it for me, no actual central plot, the hierarchy didn’t seem to be in place either.
The race riot scenes might as well not have been in either.
Huge fan of the series, thought coming out of the cinema that I’d rather have watched three episodes back to back instead.

I go in with a pretty open mind. I don't want or expect it to be able to have anything like the depth The Sopranos had. It had to be treated like a stand alone film and I'm happy that they haven't tried to lean to heavily on characteristics of the original cast. That would seem corny and try hard. Would have been far worse as a mini series though.

There should be retribution for this. I swear in the last five years it's just got worse and worse.
It's even the same from local papers as well.
Headline in Kent Live today "dog owners who use harness on walks risk £5k fine or jail".
But what they actually mean is dog owners who don't have an ID tag on their dog may be fined.
Honestly, it's so depressing how they get away with it.
