Anfield road expansion confirmed.

Hopefully we put the away fans in some top corner and not behind the goal
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I thought there were recommendations that away fans were encouraged to be put into the bottom tier/behind the goal now at football grounds?

I could be completely wrong but I'm sure I've read previously that the PL were attempting to implement this?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Doesn't happen at OT, Emirates or Ethiad. Our fans are hidden in some corner.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Or St James park - right at the top of the stand..

Since the sharp rise in wholesale gas prices - which firms complain they are unable to pass on to customers because of a price cap on energy bills - a number of small companies have collapsed, affecting more than one million customers.

Love how the energy companies are blaming the price caps on them being unable to pass on the price rises to the customers. That’s the whole point of the cap, you feckin doughnuts
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Quite right. But those caps also didn't envisage us taking a gun and shooting ourselves in the foot with brexit.

So they don't quite work now.

Guess which one left the collective bargaining agreement of ~500million consumers?

I was going to cite St James' Park as one as well.

I don't know if there was a rule that was going to be implemented or whether it was encouraged by clubs, but I'm sure I read somewhere a couple of years ago they were wanting to get away fans behind the goal, in the bottom tier or both.

For sure, but other underlying factors are quite interesting. Mainly that Russia (Gazprom) is strangling the supply so they can get the authority to open their second pipeline quicker, basically blackmail. I kind of admire how brazen they are and couldn’t care less what everyone thinks about them.

Derby County going into administration is a really sad story. That's a big club.

Got to admit that I am quite happy to see Derby go down. Quite happily see them out of the football league tbh.

Horrible management though.

They did get 100k from Gordon starting last night….

If they go, i bet we see some sort of bailout/solidarity fund mooted.

time for them to properly set up FFP right through the pyramid,

Not on the P/L account, NO accounting tricks such as Amortisation, and a limit on wages to turnover.

Still should be pretty straightforward beating a mid table Championship team though regardless.
