There’s something about Nunez’ completely unnecessary shiithousery that i can’t help but love.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think Nunez clearly remembers Pep from last season when he ran up to Tsimikas and Thiago after they scored.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah Fack Pep, Nunez is just fantastic.
Payback for shaking our players hands in the 4-1 last season. Pep can’t take it the tw*t.
Spurs
That was a long lived title challenge.
so thts alisson and jota out then?

Let's wait and see.
Don't think Ali is serious but with Jota it is usually a number of weeks
Can't not be happy with a point tbh
Felt like they were there for the taking if we had been a little braver but yeah got to be happy. We'll have most of our rivals at home second half of the season too. Done a great job so far on the whole.
We were a bit reserved against Chelsea too. Think it's down to having many new players so that confidence just isn't at optimum level yet. We are in the right track. It will come.
Got ourselves in a great position following this weekend has to be said.
2 points off top having played 9 of the top 12 is brilliant, especially when 6 of those have been away from home.
Lets just hope we actually turn up v the bottom half and don't do a repeat of Luton.
Got to wonder whether Ali would have been so dopey if he hadn't flown halfway around the world for internationals. AMA was quoted saying he was suffering from jet lag and fell asleep in the team meeting on Friday where they were planning tactics for the game. I know the players get flown about in private jets and with loads of creature comforts, but jet lag isn't one of those things you can necessarily cheat.
We're still in a great position. It's in our hands what we do with it

Do they get private jets back from South America? I doubt that tbh.

It's looking very promising. I was delighted with a point on Saturday as I thought we would lose. Defensively I thought the team coped quite well overall. We just need to find a consistent way of breaking teams down who are set up with a low block.

think they do quite often, normally with the manchester ones
I have to say I’m feeling more positive about a title challenge now because City are stuttering so I’m not sure the usual 95+ points will be needed to win it.
Still think we need a 6 on January 1st to stand a chance.
Next 3 games will give us a good indication of what we can expect I think.
Fulham H, Sheff United A, Palace A.
On paper should be 9 points, but it'll show us if we still struggle against weaker sides away from home.

After 13 games City are on 29 points. Compared to previous 3 years:
2022/23 - 32 pts
2021/22 - 29 pts
2020/21 - 23 pts
They won the league in each year. Personally I don't think City are stuttering any more than previous years, they seem to time their peak for the business end of the season. Maybe 95+ won't be needed but I'd be surprised if the league is won with below 90.
Those home games against Arsenal and United will feel really big if we can hopefully rack up the points in our fixtures before.
Really desperate for us to beat United again in particular, it annoys me how a team can be so crap week after week yet keep getting lucky enough to win matches so regularly.

Yep, apparently we all club together to charter a private jet back for all our South American contingent to MAN airport. It's quite funny that we're all supposed to be rivals, but the players probably see it as just hanging out with their mates.

The only saving grace is that when comparing fixtures, theirs have been slightly kinder than ours in terms of home/away distribution. But once KDB is back I expect them to kick on and win it with a few games to spare.
We have the best defence in the league.
2nd best by one goal actually. I’m starting to think we’ll look at a LCB before a 6 is the reason I mentioned it.
shame spurs injuries hit just before playing city
