To be fair, how many decent British players are there at the minute ?

I look through the home nations teams, and there isnt anyone I would take over who we have.

Thats why we all struggle on the international scene.

Yeah, fair comment, Rice would get in instead of Gravenberch, but one costs 30mil and the English one costs 100mil.

After watching Bellingham for Madrid and for England, I am not sold on him, seems a little egotistic.

Saka I am a huge fan of, but his injuries worry me.

After those though, the cupboard is bare. At a push I could take Brookes as backup.

Quansah and Elliott are big talents, unless a good fee comes in they should prob be going on loans, ideally to a prem or a cl team.

Van dijk was celtic at this point putting in great performances

I see Quansah as a Gomez replacement rather than a VVD, Matip, Konaté etc replacement. Clearly some talent there but I don’t expect consistency.

Jaros to Ajax on lone is a really good move for all.

Tbh, Quansah needs a loan to a club like Celtic - big team but a lower level of opposition. Imo he’s very unlikely to be afforded the time he needs to develop in our first team. If he doesn’t go on loan then he’ll just end up a squad player for us until he gets frustrated and leaves.

Quansah just isn’t that good imo

I see a lot of potential in him but he needs to be playing a full season at a good level. Shouldn't be hard to find him a loan either. Last year was difficult for him, he made mistakes but given little room for them. Also needs to improve physically when it comes to aggression and duels. So a championship loan might be good for that even.

It reminds me of people saying Phillips could do a job and loads of team in the Prem would be interested.

Quansah is better than Phillips for sure, but I suspect he’ll never be CL quality.
