Phillips? He’s championship level and I’ve always said that.

disagree he'd do fine in the prem esp in a low block, did fine for us even tbf to him.

We’ll have to agree to disagree on this one but he’s at Derby for a reason imo.

Maybe a Prem team will snap him up this summer, but Bournemouth didn’t want him after the loan and no else did either.

I think it's really difficult to tell until he starts playing regular high level football. At the same age Hyypia had only just Finland for the Dutch league and he went on to have a top career.

The guy needs to play. I think it's extremely difficult for a CB to break into a CL team these days. Who has done it in recent times? Carra for us, Terry for Chelsea. Unless I'm forgetting someone, I think everyone else has been brought after proving their worth at other teams.

Firstly, I’m sorry to hear that about your family

But yeah, he’s a decent championship level defender.

I am seeing a lot of TIKTOKS of Trent taking a bashing from the Real Madrid fans after yesterdays game, pointing out all his errors and his general lacksadasy approach.

I do not know if they are fake, or if they are genuine.

I watched the game and he was exactly as I am used to seeing him, he was rinsed a few times, and he did give the ball away a few times, but we all took that on board as he was one of ours, and he would pull a rabbit or two out of the hat for us.

If the videos are genuine, then he will need to do a bit more as the Real Madrid fans will not be as accepting as us.

Like, I can look at Yoro and just know he’s going to make it. Quansah looks like we ordered Colwill off Wish and Colwill isn’t even that good.

Rumours are that after Kerkez, it's depending on sales on whether we go after a striker or centre back

I think he looks really good when full of confidence but he just makes too many mistakes and his head seems to drop.

The mistakes need to go. If he can develop to consistently play to the best level we've seen, then I can see him at a top 6 club. A Newcastle or Spurs or Villa.

Newcastle should just bite the bullet and give us £100m for Quansah, Elliott and Doak....and in return we'll give it back to them for Isak

I’ve not given up hope if Isak actually, but we’d need to move Elliot, Gomez, Tsimikas and Nunez pretty soon I reckon.

Agree with those outgoings but we’d need to sign a CB if we lost Gomez. Geertrudia would be a good bet.

What about Marc Guéhi ?
