Mine has him 11th behind Mateta and Richarlison, not sure if different sites use different models.

Jadon Anthony, Thiago (Brentford), Richarlison, Wilson Isidor and Gyokeres all making the top ten of top xG strikers.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What's your point here?
Right now those you listed are statistically producing more attacking threat than others - no one is saying that makes them better than Isak

That xG vs goals list probably isn’t the best place to search for attackers.

KK, just wanted to make sure I'm not missing something
I think it's fine to use metrics to measure effectiveness in a game or over a period that's not just goals or assists. You look at our higher xG than Chelsea and it smells right, Salah could have had a few apart from his finishing being wayward. Smells about right to me

I thought Chelsea deserved to win pretty obviously. At best a draw was a fair result for us.

I thought a draw was fair.
Other than the Enzo chance that hit the post I don't think they really had any clear chances. Most were shots around the edge of the box.
We probably had the better quality chances despite our all round game not being as good as theirs bar the 25 minutes after HT.
posted 1 day, 9 hours ago
Chelsea had more possession, more passes, same number of shots, many more shots on target.
And even putting the stats aside, the eye test should tell you that Chelsea were the better side and comprehensively deserved the win.

When Lavia came on we lost control of the game. He was running that midfield and they were all over us. Not just the goal and Enzo header. You have the expected double save from Mama, the ball that went across our 6 yard box which Grav got a touch too and they had loads of coners which were short corners but they were about to play combinations and we were too knackered to press.

Anyone watch to Stevie's interview with Rio. He got the Trent situation bang on.
Looks like he might be heading back to Rangers. The only man to stop Celtic in the last 15 years is not bad for his CV.

I don't think I knew (or if I did, I'd forgotten) that RM came in for Gerrard when Jose was manager there.
Really interesting throw-away comment from Gerrard about what they wanted him to do to force the move. Wish Rio had followed that up with a question! I assume it was either run contract down or kick up a stink.
