You have thrown your toys out of the pram as badly as anyone, and showed yourself as having a very spiteful and disdainful. Quite the elitist

The problem with our democracy is you can get elected, or shape the direction of our nation, on the back of false promises & rhetoric. This has been proven recently. For example there's more regulation in advertising than there is in the promises made by MP's running for election.

Basically you are not allowed to advertise fizzy pop without scrutiny. Yet you can promise the moon on a stick, get elected, and then retract that promise the next day and that's fine apparently.

Spot on.

Like how you would be petty and cut off your nose to spite your face to punish Britain if you were advising Merkel?

Or that you will laugh at the poor as it serves them right?

That kind of thing?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

No, not that kind of thing

Try again

it's the same with the EU when we signed up to a trading bloc 40+ years ago and slowly moved towards a United States of Europe which nobody democratically voted for. But in the EU it's unelected people proposing laws and setting budgets.

Yes, this kind of thing. You've been acting like you think you're superior to anyone who voted out and belittled them at every opportunity. Your head's so far up your own backside you've been chewing on your own intestines.

I am not acting superior to anyone

If you voted to leave the EU because of sovereignty, you are an imbecile

If you voted to leave the EU because of immigration but still want access to the single market, you are an imbecile.

If you voted to leave the EU because you believed 350m would be spent on the NHS, you are an imbecile

If you voted to leave the EU but still want to get your EU subsidies, you are an imbecile.

If you voted to leave the EU because of the laws that we support 96% of the time, you are an imbecile.

Finally, if you voted the EU because you believe that we can do better than a "Free Trade Deal" you are an imbecile.

I really do not have patience for idiots and will not apologise to people who have stupid views not supported by facts.

If you do not like facts, that is your problem. People pointing this out to you are trying to help you because you are not bright as you allowed yourself to be hoodwinked by people with no plan

Really is that simple

I don't agree with the way MUDD has put his argument, the imbecile bit, but do agree with the points he's made.

We've been through this though and I'm not sure how productive it'll be going through it all over again.

What makes London such a sheethole in your opinion?

Why do you pine for Essex so?

posted on 19/7/16

Agreed coutinhoshappyfeet, arguments have been elocuted and qualified.

Each of us have our respective viewpoints and while there isn't the economic base for the leave argument, I along with the leave voters hope one actually materialises.

If it doesn't, the government really doesn't have an option to except to nod to the frustrations of the electorate and manage expectations while keeping the status quo largely unchanged.

Unless Essex has changed drastically since I left, it is just as much a $hithole as most of London.

Because we did not lose our sovereignty as the steel workers found out when we made a sovereign decision to let Chinese steel into Britain against the wishes of the EU

Here we go again with selective posting and dishonesty

If I ran the EU I would not be playing nice with Britain. I would feck the country over.

We need to stop trying to validate stupid arguments.

This is why the world is in a mess today because stupid people's views are allowed into discourse for "balance"

When we have facts anything else is nonsense and should be treated as such.

Brexit-the-reality continues...

Now the IMF slashes its UK growth forecast by 0.9%, and says Britain voting to leave the EU has already significantly impacted the global economy.

And the new Home and Foreign Secretaries suggest that Tory manifesto and, in fact, any hard and fast migration targets will be abandoned.

Cue major frothing at the mouth from Daily Mail and Express readers...

Are you able to speak for all Brexit voters then weare?

If so, how do you all feel about immigration targets being abandoned? First step towards paving the way to retain freedom of movement in order to keep access to the single market?
