Just used it to show an example, as how further the career ladder can you go then having the say how to run your country which can effect millions of people's lives.

You're pisssing in the wind sann.
Many of these 'winners' know that all animals are equal...but some animals are more equal than others.....

I hope the wind direction is away from the body, otherwise it will get messy.

I'm all for pay equality and anti-discrimination. Though the elephant in the room has to be the fact that in real terms over recent years workers in the UK are becoming poorer and their employment terms eroded whilst CEOs and corporate elites are seeing huge increases.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Unfortunately people don't seem to care too much if some millionaire adds even bigger amounts to his account but be damned if some person with an average income gets anything extra!
I did copy paste this somewhere else the other day, talks about exactly what you were just saying, makes a historical comparison and a warning.... quite interesting.

Just watched that, it was decent.
The advertising industry does little to help increasing dissatisfaction folk feel. Same with Facebook, I actually have friends who find use of the platform leads them to become more depressed. A few imbeciles asking folk which one of their eight Tag Heuer watches they should wear and that kinda thing. All quite trite, but enough to play on folks insecurities.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't believe that at all, stacks may be against women, but I think a black man going to state education has a worse time climbing the career ladder. Again a lot of the top jobs are run by women nowadays. You cannot keep saying it's not equally fair for women when in fact it shows that they can get these jobs. PM, German Chancellor, Thia PM, burma's PM, Greece's acting PM, the list goes on. There are so many women in top jobs.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm not going to dispute a lot of this, I feel the racial inequality is far worse than gender inequality; and like you said there are a lot of examples of women making it to the top. Yet there is enough evidence to suggest that opportunities are harder to come by for women, otherwise it would be an even split.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't think we are that far apart, maybe if you take the last 30 years into consideration. I could see your point, but in this day and age I think if it's not 50/50 it must be damn close to it. All the places I have worked (about 9 professionally) there has always been a near 50/50 split between men and women.
So what do the left do now? Clearly there has been a push away from this side in recent years, who or what is to blame is a long debate.
But what can the DNC in Amercia do to bring voters back?
Like hoping Trump fails so people can say I told you so isn't the answer, same would apply if Hillary had got in.
With Brexit the divide seems to be so strong that it looks like people who voted remain will want the UK to fail (hopefully I'm exaggerating here) again to say I told you so.
That's not going to benefit anyone.

Assassinate Clinton?

Imagine it happened!
Or if Trump was shot...

I don't liek the way the DNC try to get teh celebrity vote, like does anyone look to Jay Z and Beyonce to get advice on polititcal issues?
I'd say Trump is probably a higher assassination risk than any other Pres for decades. If he makes it through 4 years I'd be amazed.
Note to CIA and or FBI: If you're reading this, I have no intention of performing this service for you.
I wish Bernie had got the DNC vote, liked the cut of hi gib, too much of a socialist for the US though.
but like the 1 cent tax on Wall St, what an idea, would never happen but makes so much sense to do it.

Really... I was a remainer, however democracy is democracy as they say. Would I like Brexit to fail, of course not. Actually I for one, cannot speak for all remainers, said that we can make brexit great, but it will come at a cost. A cost that most likely will be lingering around for a while, which given the financial situation we are in is not a good thing to hard working honest people. But the issue here is ifs and buts, which is slightly different to staying in the EU.

The left should blame ourselves for letting our 'leaders' forget why they're on this side.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Anyone you see from the leader perspective as being to blame for forgetting who they are there to represent?
