I read that, pretty much agree with the man though

What a rather long winded opinion piece, I reckons he goes on forums and just cherry picks positive and negative arguments from them and puts them together in a rather tedious read!
Smid, Hearts under Budge have never been as dysfunctional as we have been under King.
I take your point though but circumstances are different.

It's not Rangers though?
To be honest I don't disagree with a lot of what he is saying

“On one hand, people bemoan systematic failure. On the other? Let’s mock someone who thought outside the box.
Of course, Cathro represents a risk for Hearts; just as Neilson was when plucked from under-20 coaching in 2014. That did not play out too badly. The reality is any appointment at any level of the game, let alone one as low as Scotland, may not succeed.”
Changed your mind now it seems, ya baw faced cant?

If you take the blinkers off you will see that Murray is not against the idea of an inexperienced coach being given a chance. He's just saying that at this point in time it might not be what's right for Rangers.
Let's be honest it is a mess over there.

Aye, what we need is an experienced coach.
That’ll sort out the boardroom. Somehow
Hard to see anything wrong with the article tbh. Who decided Rangers need inexperience?
The problem is we could get an experienced coach.
But not a very good one.
All the names of experienced coaches which have been mentioned have just as many failures as successes on their cvs.
So in my opinion, they are a risk as well.
I’d rather take a risk on someone who might be brilliant rather than someone who never has been, and never will be.

Too boring to plump for Pullis, Allerdyce, Moyes, Sparky types, imo.

Marco Silva would have been my choice.

Isn’t it more the case that the feeling is Rangers should be looking beyond either a cheap and relatively awful manager who will inspire not a lot and instead throw what money they have at getting the best they can ala BR?
Get rid of Allen and the clowns on stupid wages and free that up for a good enough coach who will have the nous and respect to get the very best out of the players at his disposal and build slowly from there.
Sounds easy I know but surely that should be the way of thinking.

Is that the boy sacked by Watford that Everton were going to pay like £8m for?
He would be well out of our price range I would say.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
he is out of a job now so no compo to pay. He was on about 20k a week at Watford. He has all the credentials required IMO.
