seems to be less so than the other forum, and they don't even know about the 18 year old, they just objected to me saying I'm not really bothered if Prince Andrew slept with a 17 year old.

If they knew about my 18/19 year old friend, I think they'd hunt me down and burn me at the stake tbh.

It's not great. Your life experiences are clearly informing your opinion on the Prince Andrew case. Which is pretty gross. As you like to point out - not all 17 year olds are the same. Giuffre was not a regular teenager in a regular situation. At all. You should really consider why and how you're thinking about this. IMO.

I don't really have a firm opinion on Andrew I just got dragged into the discussion. It came about after I read that other witness saying that the girl was delighted about it at the time. What I said was that I think that the girl has been manipulated by lawyers into what strikes me as being extortion, and I still do see it that way.

I don't think my own friendship with a 18/19 year old when I was a similar age to what Andrew would have been had a massive bearing on that tbh. I wasn't trying to defend my own actions, it's just how I see the Prince Andrew issue. I could be wrong, but it just seems to me like a witch hunt for money.

I did associate the 2 in some way, cos otherwise I wouldn't have mentioned her. Or at least what they were saying about me for standing by Prince Andrew.

Funnily enough there's been a poll on their since asking people whether
a) they think the royal family should be abolished or
b) they think it shouldn't and they stand by Andrew

and one third of voters went for b. Noone's said a word about it.

I don't necessarily agree that the monarchy should be abolished. But I certainly wouldn't stand anywhere near Andrew. Or Charles, for that matter.

Charles isnt anything terrible imo

He actually has some ok ideas for the monarchy - stripping it back to just him William and George + spouses

He's a big environmentalist as well.
