yes ok, but you can't just say someone is mature as an adult at this age and isn't at that age. the girls I knew in Phnom Penh who were 22,23,24 were all mature as adults I'd say. I've known or met women in their 30s who weren't, or who were too simple to have any kind of attraction to or interaction with.

The 18 year old girl was very mature in that way, very bright and knew what she wanted. I'm not recommending 18 year olds as suitable relationships, but I don't feel in hindsight there was anything wrong in me and her, and neither did anyone we met so far as I'm aware including her older brother and sister (although her sister didn't like me, it wasn't in that way, she just didn't like me, but she was a bit of a nutcase anyway and nothing like her sister in terms of personality).

The housemaid at the place I stayed in Mombasa was cracking on to me, and she was probably late 30s, and talking to her was like having a conversation with an empty biscuit tin. The 18/19 year old girl I was sort of seeing, was light years ahead of her mentally.

Anyway, I'm more worried atm about trying to work out how my puny legs are going to get me up 14km of mount kenya and back again in a day.

I just don't think I can possibly do it.

10 years ago I would fancy my chances, but my legs have gone these days.

It's like 1 and a half Ben Nevises but at twice the altitude. Plus you have to be out by 6pm and you can't enter until daybreak.

Nah mate, I'm in Lamu which is generally about 2000 years behind the rest of the world. Have moved today though (walked about 4k with all my bags to save 4 quid ) to a little beach village called Shela which seems absolutely mint, and am currently sitting in a cracking little restaurant drinking sensational 2 quid passion fruit smoothies whilst waiting for a swahili fish curry.

Mombasa is where the night life was. I posted a video of some dancing, but it's currently on private so the link won't work.

I rarely drink anyway so nightlifes not much of a thing for me.
