I think Jordan has a point regarding Neville’s property portfolio tbf. I mean we are in the middle of a housing crisis, many of the white middle aged men he is referring to can probably not afford adequate housing, and he’s building a £400m property development. (I’m not aware of whether any of it is social housing so happy to be corrected if it is).

Gary Neville's Relentless Developments has committed to contributing to affordable housing through its projects, such as the St Michael's development, by incorporating affordable housing units and a significant percentage of these units within the broader schemes.
He has also expressed a desire to create integrated communities with higher percentages of affordable housing, aiming to deliver schemes that can be owned by local authorities without the need for government financing.

It's a stupid comment from ppl who don't understand what socialism is. The great misconception is that socialism wants everyone to board a plane and turn right, when in fact it wants everyone to board and turn left.
Granted for that to happen all would need to be that higher standard but that's really the aspiration.
Whereas the go to argument for the right wing is always to reduce ppl to the lowest common denominator. It's why you hear brainwashed idiots trying to justify why doctors shouldn't get a payrise because the nurses get paid a pittance.

Of course it is divisive, people don’t like being challenged on negative behaviours. An example being there are lots of largely good people, who have viewpoints that have a racial bias or view point - but often kick off when challenged because it is easier to reject something than reflect.
I think we all understand his point regarding flags. It is targeted at the people who are using it for division.

Rarely agree with Simon Jordan and he is someone who has been having digs at Neville for the longest time and it's always come across as bitter jealousy to me, but for once I think he is right here.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think Jordan has a point regarding Neville’s property portfolio tbf. I mean we are in the middle of a housing crisis, many of the white middle aged men he is referring to can probably not afford adequate housing, and he’s building a £400m property development. (I’m not aware of whether any of it is social housing so happy to be corrected if it is).
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That too. It just comes across as hypocritical and contradictory among other things.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why is it so? He is allowed to complain about the state of society while working within the parameters to benefit himself. It is not like he is being unnecessarily exploitative.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He is allowed of course but it appears I have just seen an angry white middle aged man come out and say something a bit divisive, as demonstrated by the reaction to what he said.
He talks about how he it's a great country and he's patriotic yet bemoans people who are putting flags up that for many will be a sign of their own patriotism.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They aren’t putting them up to be patriotic, they’re putting them up to be intimidating to people of a different colour and nationality.

You know this for a fact for everyone who has put them up?

Of course it is divisive, people don’t like being challenged on negative behaviours. An example being there are lots of largely good people, who have viewpoints that have a racial bias or view point - but often kick off when challenged because it is easier to reject something than reflect.
I think we all understand his point regarding flags. It is targeted at the people who are using it for division.
