Saying you don't think Farage's, and Reforms, policy on ILR isn't racist and they haven't said they will force people to leave, when they blatantly have, doesn't help the way you're perceived on here. Neither does saying you agree with Trump on Sadiq Khan then having to walk back you not meaning the racist and blatantly false part.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And that's just the last few days. I remember a debate I had with him where he defended Tommy Robinson for days.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Never defended TR. Go back and read the London march thread. And when you find nothing to support your misinformation and lies, it will just prove my point that the propensity to BS at both ends of the argument is rife!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'll take your word for it as I might just be confusing you with another poster.

Calling people out as racists, bigots and Naz!s just because they happen to disagree with your views on certain political themes is not respectful or positive and there has been a lot of it coming from the left; on here, in protest marches, in the media, from members of the government.
======
Disagree with this and honestly don't understand the logic behind these claims. You are trying to limit freedom of speech. Obviously some things are wrongly labeled sometimes but overall when I see something being labeled racist it's usually the case and an accurate description of what happened.

To me it seems like people want to get away with saying nasty stuff by playing the victim. If someone thinks you are racist or bigoted why don't our want to silence them?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Really, you would take the idea that someone is a racist at face value just because another person called them that? Sounds like a very poor way of judging somebody's character.

"Somebody said they are so they must be" wouldn't hold much water in a court for trying to convict someone.

Not sure how the freedom of speech is being limited here either?

I heard a guy on the radio the other day say 'It's become more offensive to call out racism than the actual racism itself'.

This is true, all propogated by whom? The Yaxley Lennon's and Farages of the RW spectrum. You keep aligning yourself with that then asking why people think you're racist
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There's gonna be a lot of offended people around. What dev is saying here isn't new, is it? It's very common when you talk to right wingers and it's being propelled by their right wing media, a form of victim hood where they try to censor you and discourage people from having the confidence to call out racism in the open.

In my personal experience with right wingers I cotton that most of them want to go further right than they are, and they only go as far right as the rest of society will allow without them being excommunicated.

Hiw many instances of online racism was there before 4chan, 8chan and ither anonymous websites? The moment it could be done without being identified there was a nuclear explosion of racism on those platforms.

Do not be fooled. If you give them an inch they will take a yard, and no matter what you give in to they will always remain complaining and playing victim and when they're done fighting "outsiders" they start fighting each other.

Is that what I said or implied? The fack is this tbh? This is all you. You've chosen to falsely frame the issue like that so that you can then use that as a platform to make whatever point you want to make.

You are now suggesting that I take racism at face value. Maybe I should be offended by that. How dare you! That's no way to debate when you keep labeling people as taking racism at face value.

I didn't respond to an individual incident. If you look what I replied to in the beginning, it was a comment about "lefties" or whatever you want to call them "labeling views or people on the right as racists, natzis etc. I disagreed with that concept, and honestly couldn't care less about an anecdotal individual incident that doesn't paint an accurate picture of the whole.

The people protesting at hotels are either thick as sheite or racist. Most likely both.

If anyone disagrees then they’re welcome to offer a justifiable reason for being there. Good luck with that.

Most people who were there just had genuine concerns. That's a perfectly valid reason, surely?

The Irish tricolour doesn’t even make sense as a flag of Ireland considering they didn’t get Northern Ireland.

Particularly the most northern counties of the south, Donegal, Cavan, Monaghan. Orange marches aplenty during marching season and no doubt a lot less contentious than those held in NI.

Did you know that the Republic of Ireland is further north than Northern Ireland? It's also further south. And west. But not east. It should be called Eastern Ireland. Or western Britain.

Wouldn’t that make england, wales and Northern Ireland + half of glasgow vs Ireland and Scotland + half of glasgow?
