So now it's the defensive midfielder's fault we didn't score more than one goal? You've let this bizarre hatred you have take over from rational thoughts.

Yeah, pretty much. We score less goals when he plays. Check it out, and concede no more when he doesn't. It's a no brainer!
Unfortunately, due to injuries, and the clubs inability to secure the signature of a decent midfield player, we're again stuck with him.
Did you not watch us at all when he wasn't playing at the start of the season? Even that awful Arsenal side scored a couple. Since he's played we've looked much surer defensively

He has never had any rational thoughts. Or original ones. He is just Captain P with another sign in, nothing more.

We have scored six in our last two, and it should have been a lot more.
You do talk crap kid, I will give you that.

A bit like when we scored 8, when he wasn't on the bench?

Sorry mate, but I whole heartedly diagree. The first 11 PL games of the season Carrick was pretty much uninvolved, we conceded a total of 12 (6 of those against City)
He played against Benfica, we conceded 1. He played against Basel, we conceded 3.
He's played 4 of the last 5 PL games and we have conceded 4 (granted he didn't play against Crystal Palace) He also played in the return match against Benfica, we conceded 2, and were subsequently knocked out of the CL.
The point I'm making is his presence doesn't benefit us defensively. He certainly doesn't benefit us as an attacking force, as the stats prove. He scored his first goal in 70 games! Defenders have better goal scoring tallies than that!
I stand by my original assessment. He's never has been, and never will be United quality. The only reason most people on here think he's a good payer is because he played for United. If he played for anyone else, it'd be Michael who??
..and Crystal Palace aren't in the PL

Most of what you're saying is nonsense, teams had so many chances against us before Carrick's return (De Gea had faced more attempts at goal than any other keeper in the league) but now the team is conceding few goalscoring opportunities and as shown in the last couple of games, the team can still go forward with similar class as shown earlier this season.
Carrick is an excellent footballer, defensively one of the best midfielders in the league, a clever passer of the ball and a very intelligent player.
When everyone is available he should start alongside Cleverley or Jones.

Everyone was available at the start of the season, and he bench warmed. Personally I hope this is the case when everyone is fit again, but we'll see...

It won't be the case.
Sir Alex said Carrick will step up from November and he has done, he gives the team something you don't seem to understand, balance.
Defensive solidity with attacking quality is what United have searched for all season and in the last couple of games they may have just found it with Carrick being integral i'm afraid
Yep, this was a good one...
