Kalou is a good impact sub and nothing more. I would be very worried if he started each game.

If we have ambitions of finishing above Chelsea, signing players who can't get into their first team probably isn't the way to go....
-------
Agreed there, a big name signing will be difficult but it might persuade other players we are serious about getting back into the CL.
Fred
Keys hope your right about Luis, he owes us some loyalty now.
Honda, Kagawa, Arteata (don't know him but not another kid), Rhodes (risky), De Jong, Skakiri, Kalou (big no) and Huntelaar are not going to solve our goal scoring problem.
Podolski plus one of Higuain or Matri. Higuain and Matri are very similar. They are very clinical and quick. They are very good at counter attacking play. We need also someone to score goals when the opposition are defending in numbers. Some one who can shoot and score from half a chance. Podolski is the right man for this.
Huntelaar is one of the best finishers out there!!!
We also need Lucas cover while he's out and to keep him on his toes when he's back. Higuain and Matri won't sign for us.
Zabi do you have to talk nonsense in every single one of your posts?
I don't think you watch enough football outside the PL. I don't even think you know who is Matri?
Let me tell you that I watch German league every week. I watched every single game in last Asian cup won by Japan. Honda and Kagawa were not that good. Juventus is my 2nd team and I watched them every week. I've seen a lot of De Jong, Shakiri and all the other crap players you think they are good. Also, where I live we get every PL football game live on TV. What have you been watching apart from the Liverpool and Liverpool reserves games.
I think everybody knows who Matri is Zabi. Do you know who he is? Do you know that he has scored around 80 goals in around 230 appearances, with most being in the lower leagues in Italy?
Compare that to Huntelaar. After you've done that. Keep quiet. Thank you.
I have seen all these players too. I have also seen the Liverpool players you slate every week to know that you talk nonsense. This doesn't change because you claim to watch players more than I do, oh wise football sensei.
Zabi you're chatting cack mate.
I do actually watch a bit of Serie A (when there's nothing else on) and I watch a lot of La Liga, I'm going to the Bernabéu to see Real - Levante next month!!
Maybe Matri and Higuain are great players, I'm not arguing that but you're a deluded moron to think they'd sign for us. We're being realistic, maybe even a little optimistic thinking about players like Klaas Jan; you just appear like a 14 year old on football manager!

Rvp is coming to the end of his contract.
We should push the boat out and offer him wages he can't refuse.

More from the rumour mill:
According to L'Equipe we are in for Benjamin Corgnet who plays for Dijon.
Don't know anything about the guy, but apparently he is a highly rated 24 year old midfielder who was playing non league two years ago.
He has scored 7 goals in 18 games for Dijon; not a bad return for a midfielder.

I think RVP is on something like £115k a week. That's just my guesstimate though.
Can't see him leaving Arsenal to be honest.
Sorry guys. I had to talk to my wife and kids (Skyp). I'm currently in Japan just for two weeks on a business trip.
Matri was playing for Cagliari and lower teams. He is from Milan Academy. He didn't get the chance when he was there because there were some great players at Milan. He is now with Juve. He had a good record for Cagliari and now at Juve. But I don't look at his record. I don't think Ronaldo would have scored more than 45 goals at a team like Zaragoza like he did at Real last season. Ba was not that good at West Ham.
Thanks Anfield Rap. TOOR thinks he knows everything. I've tested his knowledge in football which is very limited outside Liverpool first team and reserves.
Japan, lucky sod.
The furthest I could ever go on a business trip is Getafe or Finkenwerder .
Tianjin if I'm incredibly lucky though.

True, and somehow can't see Arsenal letting him go so easily either, especially to another EPL side.
They don't have a choice unless he signs a new contract though Red_Led.
